a god or deity to some, a devil to others -- but always inhuman. (can something that is not human still accomodate humanity?)
name: his true name has been buried and is unknown to not only humans, but to his own family. he's gone by many names, but his current mask takes the form of a man named jason parkes.
age: truly immeasurable, but his current mortal mask is in his late thirties to early forties (though he's dawned this mask for a little over a decade).
identity: the human idea of gender and sexuality does not exist, to him; he is unlabeled, though if someone asks, he will just say he's fluid. with his current mask, he uses he/him pronouns, but he genuinely couldn't care less what people refer to him with.
occupation: a priest in a local catholic church who splits his time between the church itself and a group home for "troubled" kids.
he's always taken an interest in human's ability to believe in things they cannot see or hear, and has taken the form of a religious figure, before. every aspect of human life and belief, or lackthereof, fascinates him, but the deceit that is integrated so deeply into some religions has always fascinated him a little more than anything else. this is partially why he often takes the form of a religious figure, but it also fills him with a warmth he still can't quite comprehend when people come to confide in him, often strangers seeking comfort from something that they also often fear.
his family is a group of what humans would call gods, similar to that of the greek and roman gods, but completely unknown to other beings. while most gods are often the product of humanity and their belief in them (or, at least, draw their power from their belief in them), jason's family doesn't draw power from belief or worship -- their power is completely innate and unearthly, unplanetary, and doesn't rely on anything but themselves. they are not benevolent, and are rather often the source of earthly chaos and destruction, dealers of curses and maladies. jason, who is (or, was) very low on the foodchain and essentially the janitor for his family with his unique ability to control and manipulate time (a concept they had no name for until the birth of humanity), decided to rebel and has been trying to help the victims of his family on earth for decades. he is in a constant fight with not only his family, but himself.
