This looks like it came in a plastic bag attached to a chapter book called "Lady Edie and the Pegasus of Friendship" that you found at the Scholastic Book Fair. I love this. There's no way that little star isn't made of plastic. Receiving this definitely made Byleth tear up. The colors clash so hard. The colors are red for the Empire and purple for Edelgard's eyes. Edelgard saw it and immediately thought "this is perfect" but when Dorothea learned that was the gift her future Emperor picked out she took a full day off to rethink her life choices. Byleth never takes it off even if she doesn't follow Edelgard's path. It looks like a piece of children's jewelry because Edelgard never got to be a little girl who wore tacky necklaces she found at a beach stall. Ingrid thinks it looks great.
