So, I saw this note in the “Dominion War Campaign” Booklet for Star Trek Alliance (an offshoot of Star Trek Attack Wing by Wizkids)

It’s nice they let you bring in some other ships from Attack Wing if you choose, but it’s limited, even considering It’s just “Federation” ships for now. Personally, I get excitable as to choice, I like to keep my options open. So I expanded the list Tier 1 (Requires Captain Skill 2) Akira Class, Excelsior Class, Miranda Class, Oberth Class, Nova Class, Aerie Class, NX Class, Bajoran Interceptor, Bajoran Scout, Bajoran Solar Sailor, Suurok Class Tier 2 (Requires Captain Skill 4) Defiant Class, Saber Class, Constellation Class, Constitution Class, Constitution Refit, [Andorian Battle Cruiser*] [Maquis Raider*] [Mirror Universe Olympic Class*] Tier 3 (Requires Captain Skill 5) Intrepid Class, Galaxy Class, Nebula Class, D'kyr Class, Kelvin-Timeline Constitution, [Dauntless Class*] [Mirror Universe/Borg Galaxy Class*] Tier 4 (Requires Captain Skill 8) Sovereign Class, Prometheus Class * These are  NOT Federation ships and thus break the rules, but they are so close to Federation ships I felt I needed to include them. (Assumptions of course have been made.) Tier One, excluding the Excelsior and Akira, anything with a combined Weapon, Agility, Hull and Shield Value of 9 or less, and can have no more than 3 native upgrade slots. Tier Two anything with a combined Weapon, Agility, Hull and Shield Value of 10 to 11, and can have no more than 3 native upgrade slots. Tier Three anything with a combined Weapon, Agility, Hull and Shield Value of 12 to 14, and can have no more than 4 native upgrade slots. Tier Four anything with a combined Weapon, Agility, Hull and Shield Value above 14, and/or has more than 4 native upgrade slots.

I don’t object to the idea that the Vulcans still have ships of their own, I’m just not crazy about the fact that their ships look practically identical the ones that they were using 200 years earlier.
