🧾 Despite referrals from the Prime Minister's office to Canada’s #Immigration Minister both in 2022 and 2023 in relation to my ongoing and unresolved #asylum request to their country, the response received from the Minister's Office on November 27th, 2023, was considered completely unsatisfactory.

This was in complete disregard for the well-considered and viable propositions I presented, as well as the extensive details provided, highlighting the prolonged adversities I have continually endured in the vicinity of the #UNHCR premises in #Athens throughout the preceding decade.

Despite the re-escalation of the issue to the Prime Minister's office and its subsequent referral back to the Minister's office, the likelihood of additional responses from the Minister remains uncertain. Moreover, the Deputy Minister’s response on December 28th, 2023, failed to address my concerns.

📸 In furtherance of my prior 2022 correspondences with Canada’s foremost pertinent authorities regarding my continued yet unaddressed Asylum request, the matter has been reassigned by the Prime Minister's office to the incumbent Immigration Minister for consideration.

Nevertheless, the response emanating from the Minister’s Office on November 27th, 2023, was deemed utterly unsatisfactory, offering merely a perfunctory referral of the issue back to the UNHCR office or suggesting alternative impracticable solutions, such as the procurement of Private Sponsors.

The unsatisfactory response and poor reception at the Athens Embassy on December 14th, 2023, compelled the re-escalation of the matter to the Prime Minister's office. Despite a second referral to the Minister's office for consideration, the prospects of further responses from their office remain unclear.

📸 Despite the ongoing extension of my captivity in Greece, my diligent attempts to extricate myself from these unacceptable circumstances continue with steadfast resolve.

The latest manifestation of these efforts was my recent visit to the Canadian Embassy in Athens, which took place on Thursday, December 14th, 2023. It is to be noted that my communications with Canadian authorities commenced two years prior the precipitous disruptions that completely destabilized my life in Southern Kurdistan in 2014.

Yet, despite numerous attempts to engage through direct visits to their embassy in Athens, their inaction in providing the necessary assistance persists. Requests for a meeting with the Ambassador are ignored, entry to the embassy grounds is denied, and no official has addressed my concerns in a stress-free setting.
