Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt. ‘Behind The Boosh’ offers a rare glimpse into the extraordinary creative universe of The Mighty Boosh, the award-winning British comedy sensation created by the pair.

I am sitting down on the number block carpet I want to hear about him
Bob is an eldritch monster (I've just been calling their species Worldeaters, I don't have any plans to change the name) that eats planets and rocks in general (Stars too but that's a rare snack).
He was laid on Earth sometime during the end of Precambrian Era. And hatched a year BEFORE the Cambrian Era officially started. His parents kind of just left him there (due to their species they can't exactly stay with him, they do visit sometimes though!) with a babysitter so he wont be completely alone growing up.
Bob's just kind of vibing on Earth until he reaches maturity :)
On the Nerdist podcast in 2016, Noel spoke about what Rich brought to the Boosh!
Noel: “He was so good on it. Because he used to come on like a big blast of energy. And we were so mumbly and English and doing these intricate dialogues. Then he’d come in, big and brash. It kind of worked.”
i may or may not have gone mental and built the zooniverse in Minecraft based on this map 🙈
I didn't follow towards the end I more or less did some buildings that I like (also ignore the giant pink tower and red building and motorways)
here are my fav bits!
• A no weeping sign outside the keepers huts
• Naboos shop🥶
• A stage like from the tundra episode where Dixon Bainbridge may or may not be giving a speech ( fossil hasn't prepared for his arrival or anything it's permanently there)
• The foxes ☺️
Here's a minute long video if you want to see the whole zoo! (It didn't take me five hours no break)
Seeing all the Boosh Boys together at Noel's party got me thinking about the album they recorded and never released. They could do an amazing Spinal Tap-esque mockumentary for the album. Turns out they have all been in the studio since 2011, just bickering about the album. None of them have even heard of Covid 19.
We see them have artistic debates such as:
Howard: I think we need some jazzy flute right here, something to really elevate the bridge.
Bob Fossil: I hear what you're saying, Moon. How about you grab your flute, then turn it sideways, and then SHOVE IT UP YOUR STUPID ASS YOU JAZZY NERD!
Or,
Vince: We can't use this take! I wasn't wearing my scarf on this take.
Howard: No one can hear whether or not you're wearing a scarf on a sound recording...
Vince: I can tell! I sound bland, unfinished...
Naboo enters the room.
Naboo: That doesn't sound right. Is that the take where Vince wasn't wearing his scarf?
Rudi is on year two of his guitar solo. They stopped recording him twenty minutes in.
Spider tripped so hard, he started to question if he was an absurdist abstraction or just a racially incentive stereotype. He's in therapy now, doing the work. He has eight penises, but only one heart, and he needs to start listening to it.
Naboo and Bollo complain they have been in the studio for hours. It's been 12 years. They have been smoking some good shit.
Remember that episode on Xooberon where Vince tries to retrieve a stolen magic item (aand the imprisoned Howard) by winning a sexy dance competition? But then Bobby Bob beat it and totally killed the whole competition, because Vince can't actually do much sexy dancing (he's more of a funny bouncy dancer), but Fossil? Xooberoans are still fantasizing about him. And what's your fake episode?😄
Noel: "In the Boosh we just used to try and make each other laugh, because you've done the show every which way you can, you've stretched it, you've added bits, but you still have to remain disciplined and remember that people coming to the show are seeing it for the first time. It is hard to do that, especially when you've got Rich Fulcher in the show, because he never says the same thing twice so it's quite easy to go off on a tangent."
Why yes I did decide to make a Mighty Boosh + Kelis mashup at midnight and post it as the first piece of original content to my account in months, why do you ask
