tobias had done a lot of tutoring on the side as a student before everything went to shit for him, and actually ended up in the start of a relationship with a young woman about his age that he'd been tutoring named liliana. they'd really only just started entertaining the idea, but they had chemistry. he found her charming, energetic, and appreciated that she wanted to take him out of his comfort zone, so to speak. it was, unfortunately, all cut short when he was cursed - they never got the chance to speak again. he's not too incredibly hung up on something that may not have even taken off, but he can't help but remember her every now and again when lamenting on what else in his life got shoved aside so brutally. he just hopes she's doing well.
