Ampeels are interesting animals, using a sophisticated set of electrocyte prongs to catch prey, deter predators and even as a crude, rudimentary language made up of electrical pulses.

This one here’s trying to tell a blighter (the yellow fish) to “piss off”, not realising that the blighter is almost entirely blind.

playing subnautica again and this time around i was like "oh i'll build MULTIPLE little bases in different areas, that will encourage me to explore new areas and see everything the game has to offer!"

this game is so scary everywhere outside of the ten (10) feet i'm comfy in

#my dearest base was on the edge of the red plains and the mushroom forest near the aurora #loved that base even when bone sharks would try to follow me home #so now i went for red plains on the opposite side towards the great reef #and i just spent an hour white knuckling it trying to build a one room base in the fucking blood kelp trench #i only have the sea moth with mk 1 depth so i was fucking FREEDIVING IN THE DARK TO 600M TRYING TO FIND THE GROUND #i found it #love subnautica its a great game
