The Vicious Guards in the Alley
With my stomach grumbling like thunder, I went out during my one-hour lunchbreak to grab something to nibble on. It was pitch dark outside; there was no moon or stars floating over the ether. It felt gloomy while I was walking along the deserted alleyway. The only source of light was my phone's flashlight, which made it more difficult to see my steps.
As I was halfway down the alley, a roaring bark reverberated out of the blue. My heart jumped out of my chest and pounded heavily. I felt as cold as ice. My hands trembled like a leaf, and my legs became noodles. Despite being horrified, I continued walking.
Arriving at the mouth of the alley, I saw two black, voluptuous dogs appear in my sight. My throat became as barren as the Sahara Desert. My palms started sweating and dripping incessantly. The gaze of the dogs was as sharp as a razor, enough to kill me in a snap. Slowly, they were moving uprightly and stiffly towards me, with heads slightly raised, pricked ears directed forward, and tails erected and rigid.
Without thinking twice, I turned my back on them and scampered away at the speed of light. A thunderous and spiteful bark blanketed and echoed, disrupting the serenity of the surroundings, and the vicious dogs began to run after me, sprinting like cheetahs. Glancing back, I noticed they were very close to me, and my nervousness was on top of a hill. With all my strength, I ran as quickly as I could. It was the fastest run I had ever done in my life.
When I finally got to the house, I was gasping for air, my lungs constricting. I felt a piercing pain on the left side of my chest, which was unbearable. I threw myself on the floor and its coldness touched my bare skin. It made me shiver down my spine. Moments later, I was back with my real self. So, I checked my phone, and I saw it was almost half an hour before I would have to get back to work.
Being deadly famished, I decided to ask my little brother to accompany me. As we neared the aperture of the alley, the dogs were no longer to be found, as if they had never existed at all. I was able to purchase some bread and a liter of Coca-Cola. Like a hungry tiger, I devoured everything. Then, my grumbling stomach became silent. When we were heading home, I saw the dogs in the same spot as they had been earlier. But, when we had passed them, they were as silent as the grave, and as gentle as lambs.

Musing of a Newbie
Classroom is like a garden.
Learners are the seeds that
needs water and sunlight,
So they won’t be rotten
And they will be the future’s best plant.
Teacher is the gardener
Of every child and take good care of them.
Nurturing them every now and then
For them to grow eminently.

Being a gardener needs love and compassion,
Love that every plant needs
Compassionate enough to nourish every seed.
These seeds will start to grow healthily.
In the garden, there will be pests,
That will destroy the plants.
Gardener needs to remove them naturally
To get organic plants for society.
The gardener should be vigilant
and look after the plants day by day
Especially when the storm come
She will be the shield and protect them.

“Understanding the Relevance of Information and News Literacy in the Midst of Social Era”
News literacy is designed to help students develop critical thinking skills in order to judge the reliability and credibility of information, whether it comes via print, television or the Internet. This is a particularly important skill in the Digital Age, as everyone struggles to deal with information overload and the difficulty in determining the authenticity of reports. The Digital Age poses four information literacy challenges for civil society: 1. The overwhelming amount of information that floods over us each day makes it difficult to sort out reliable from fabricated information. 2. New technologies to create and widely share information make it possible to spread misinformation that looks like it’s from an authoritative source. 3. The conflict between speed and accuracy has escalated. We all want information as quickly as possible, but accelerating the distribution of information in the Digital Era has also increased the chances that the information will be wrong. 4. The Internet and Social Media make it much easier to select only the information that supports our preexisting beliefs, reinforcing rather than challenging them.
These challenges have created the demand for a new kind of literacy that empowers news consumers to determine whether information is reliable and then act on it. A healthy civil society can exist only if the public is well-informed. If people can be easily led to believe rumors or gossip, the consequences can be dangerous. Information literacy on the other hand is the capacity or ability to discover, assess, compose, use, and convey information in the entirety of its different formats, most eminently in circumstances requiring dynamic, critical thinking, or the acquisition of knowledge. Information literacy is defined as "the capacity to know when there is a need for information, to have the option to distinguish, find, assess, and viably utilize that information for the issue or issue within reach". Various different endeavors have been made to all the more likely characterize the idea and its relationship to different abilities and types of proficiency. Researchers have contended that, so as to augment individuals' commitments to a popularity based and pluralistic culture, educators should challenge governments and the business area to help and support instructive activities in information literacy

Having the ability to recognize; and to judge the credibility of the information that we are provided with is a must, predominantly in the social era where a network of connected people, share interest, express; and create ideas in a virtual community with various different platforms to share knowledge. With this, people have begun using it as a tool that spawned a ton of manipulated content that can easily attract an individual and spread from person to person. The ability to critically think or judge; the trustworthiness of the information that is shared globally, is a skill that must be put into practice. In order for us to stop falling for these misleading content, one must take a step back; and evaluate facts, and not immediately jump into conclusions. We have to be aware that information can be abused, people can say anything they want and people can manipulate people.
