Bashkiria slays these days
Nearly 10 000 people went to protest against imprisoning of Fail Alsynov. They shout “Freedom!”, “Fashists!”, call their people to go and beat the shit out of russians.

^^^ From @nexta_tv
In the Russian Federation, if one of your relatives is killed while committing war crimes in Ukraine then Putin gives you a free crock pot.
A user who replied to the NEXTA post had a suggestion for a more appropriate kitchen appliance.

^^^ FYI: The Russian equivalent of “cannon fodder” is «пушечное мясо» which actually translates to “cannon meat”.

Traditionalism vs. Assimilation Among Indigenous Peoples of Siberia.
Tumblr media
As is the case for many indigenous groups around the world, native peoples of Siberia struggle to fit into the modern global village while retaining their ethnic identity and cultural distinctiveness. Since the end of World War II, the indigenous peoples of Siberia have had a special legal status which allows for certain “affirmative action”-like quotas and benefits. However, the main aim of these policies was to integrate ethnic minorities into the all-Soviet people and to inculcate the “new Soviet man” mentality. Compulsory boarding schools, where children from different ethnic groups were brought together from the age of seven in a collectivist environment, often served as the hotbed of such Sovietization. The effect on native culture was disastrous. But, as James Forsyth in his A History of the Peoples of Siberia points out, “Russification began even before this, in kindergartens, where most nurses and teachers were Russian speakers. Even where some of them were natives, however, there were cases when children or the nurses themselves were reprimanded for using their native language” (here the parallels with Native North American languages are obvious). In the Soviet Union, it was believed that minority languages and cultures would die out under communism, and that “nationalism can only be bourgeois”. Since the fall of the Soviet Union, a number of new laws have been adopted whose goal is to preserve ethnic distinctiveness of indigenous peoples. But can the tables be turned?

My dad told me this story his grandmother in Bashkiria told him.
One man made a noose from his belt and tied it to the foot of the bed. As soon as he did this, a shaitan (chort) appeared in front of him and an abyss appeared between the man and the bed. The man crawled away to avoid falling into the abyss, and the noose strangled him. Therefore, you should never make a loop from your belt and tie it to the foot of the bed.

The country called russia is very, very weak now. It's dying in agony, in fact. That's why it shares worldwide loud slogans about the "annexation of Transnistria", it pays huge bribes to "Polish farmers" and random American politicians to keep the illusion of its greatness and omnipresence. However, even this illusion is already bursting at the seams. Bashkiria, Caucasian and Siberian people rise their heads little by little, not because they love Ukraine but because russia gives them nothing but poverty, miserable life, and miserable death. The local "princes" like Kadyrov are already secretly thinking about how they will govern their patches of land of this dying monster called russia. To be great, an empire has to offer something to its people, and russia has nothing to offer except for destruction, beggary, absence of education and alcoholism. Even the most inveterate propagandists either completely change their mind and flee abroad like Nevzorov or are being murdered. They have a degeneration of the nation. Nothing will be able to fix that except for russia's partition.
The collapse of russia will be marked by those very drastic changes throughout the whole world - the reboot of worldwide relations and economics, the decrease in unemployment, the renewal of world order, the emergence of new opportunities - that fresh wind we are all waiting for.
