Feline-like eyes rest on Patricia for a moment and then he leans against the railing as he looks out over the water of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. In the previous world, this place would be BUSTLING with tourists eager to get pictures and see the sights. Especially now in the still somewhat early hours, the sunlight gentle and soft and the air still cool from the evening. Cameras snapping, lights flashing, and the chatter of a crowd would disrupt the peaceful hours. Not now. Despite the HORRORS that night always brings, the day is peaceful. Birds sing in the trees and he can watch the koi gracefully swim in the clear waters. Flowers dance through the air to land on the water and he watches it all with an inscrutable expression.

" It is rather nice. You could almost forget everything else. " Chishiya finally answers, lifting his eyes from the water to scan the trees. " I've never actually come out to see this place before. " Despite having lived here his whole life, it was not something he'd ever done. He only ever saw his father's back, poured over medical books and projects. His mother was similar when she was home. A cold house. ( Would he be different if he grew up in another family? Or would the gaping chasm of NOTHINGNESS still be left open in his chest with which there was no sutures to fix? ) " Spoiled, really. None of the tourists here to scare off the animals. " He chuckles, sparing a glance towards her from the corner of his eyes.

There'd been no real reason for him to tag along. No SCHEMING reason at least ; nothing beyond a respite from boredom. He hoists himself up onto the railing and sits there, dangling his legs off the side while his hands hold onto the railing. It would be disrespectful ordinarily, but who cared? This WORLD no longer had need for such formalities, least of all for landmarks that would no longer see any guests. Unless it became a game venue. Which, Chishiya knows, is always a possibility. But this place wasn't likely when there were better venues for games. It was too open to properly section off - a fact that Chishiya HAD noticed was common: containment either within a building or clearly set boundaries like an amusement park.

So many used the day to escape the thoughts of future games. Chishiya...didn't care one way or another.

" Oh. Bet their resthouses still have snacks too. Most people don't think to come to places like these when looking for supplies and such. Or at all, period. " He turns around, back to the water so he can face her. " Doing some sightseeing you intended to do before coming to the Borderlands? I finally had to get some anti-anxiety meds because it's all becoming too much.

An undiagnosed migraine-sinus infection combo shot my anxiety through the roof and I ended up going to the ER thinking I was dying for the second time in a year.

We'll see how it goes.

I have a headcanon that kabuto only has kinky or BDSM type sex with partners that he doesn’t really care about. With someone he really cares about, he will keep the sex simple and passionate and let his true emotions show in every look and touch, because everything else in his life is already so complicated and sex with a loved one is a rare moment of honesty where he doesn’t have to put up a front.

// I kinda like this headcanon since in a way, kinky sex is his way of hiding his sensitive self from his chosen partner so that they could only serve as to satisfy him. But hold on! That doesn't mean that he won't go vanilla for the person he cares about.

Because if his partner wants that kind of sex as way but also want the simple and passionate, he would gladly give it to them. Even when the sex is kinky, with his loved one, the tenderness and the aftercare will still be there and important.

Well I'm only like six months late getting to this...

I did actually watch the first season and some of the second season of WoT. Moiraine is definitely my type and adored a little glimpse into her romantic life.

I have never read the books and it is difficult for me to really get anything written with that series. I think it's that I don't have a complete grasp on the world and it's magic and some of the other characters.
