overall I'm honestly more happy with my art this year than i have in... a long time, lol. starting to really progress in my tattooing really started to push my style in a good direction AND spurred me on to draw more, both things that i think i rly benefitted from this year!

man. im pretty happy with it! + my first year starting to tattoo on skin :3 here's to a ton more!!! 🖤

Sorry for the absence, but I got sick after my marathon of errands at the beginning of the week (guess running around and sweat when it's -5C outside is not exactly ideal for the health).

Anyway, like the previous two years, it's time once again for Art vs. Artist - 2023 Version!

Ngl, I thought I had drawn much less last year, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to actually fill the template, but I guess I was wrong lol! (so much Mathias/Dorothea and Ardyn/Luscinia <3 these babies have been a lot in my brain <3 still very much are <3)

As per usual, no photo of my real face, so a sorta-kinda-almost self-portrait will have to do! 😅

I decided to do the Art vs. Artist thing to wrap up 2023, but I realized most of my artistic energy has gone into graphic design for Favor this year. So you get a tiny peek at some of the personal art I've squeezed in between phases of crunch time on Favor.

(Middle top and bottom pieces are Favor characters. The rest is personal stuff)

I'll admit, it's been nice to get back to my darker creative roots lately. No, you don't get any context for any of it. Sorry.
