It’s that time of year again, so I this (birthday) art prepared for my baby Jennnnnnnnn 💕💕💕💕
Tumblr media
Arabella is from a small au of mine where Jen has an childhood ‘imaginary friend’ who was actually a young witch. I mean, if Athy has a millennial aged wizard, it’s only right for the lovely princess to have a witch ;)

My greatest joy right now with Bucchigiri is slowly connecting the dots on what characters in Bucchigiri are suppose to represent who in 1001 Arabian nights.
The fact that Arajin is obviously suppose to be Aladin, and Matakara [asamine ] is suppose to he jasmine though jasmine wasn't in 1001 Arabian nights since before disney is interesting and leads me to beleive he is actually suppose to represent the second aladin.
As we know in the original aladin sorry Aladin has a mother who helps him win over the princess, and isn't an orphan and street rat. Example Arajin.
While the Disney Aladin, is a street rather whos an orphan, and its interesting how we haven't seen Asamines parents yet and his brither was taken away from Julie and he clearly lives in not as nice of a place as Arajin. But I also think he is suppose to be a mix of bith Aladin and Jasmine due to how compassionate he is and also how determined he is when it comes to defend g what he perceives as important . Also the fact that his best friends Zabu and Komao remind me alott of Rajah [jasmine's pet tiger] and Abu [Aladins pet monkey ]
This leads me to think that Akutaro Shindo is suppose to represent Jafar if we go by the Disney version of Aladin, from his personality and the fact there's a literal snake sound effect when he's on screen. and Asamines older brother rin place of the Sultun while I originally thought Ken would be in place of the sullen as his name is closer to King. It makes more sense now after episode 4 for Asamines brother to be in the place of sultan for a multitude of reasons.
SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 4 AHEAD.
In episode 4 we got a good look at many of the characters, and trust me I have ALOTT of thoughts. But for now I will focus on Asamines brother and the hinted at relationship he had with Shindo.
Shindo as we now know used to he apart of [blue team yes I'm calling them that because I cannot for the life of me remember the group names yet] and thanks to Zabu talking smack to him this episode we found out he was kicked out.
We can also assume around this time is when Asamines brother went to Juvie so im going to assume until I'm proven otherwise thay these two are directly connected rhat Asamines brother was involved with getting him kicked out. This could lead him to hold a grudge agaisnt Asamines older brother and by accociation Asamine. It also could he possiable that he's kicking up a fuss now because he knows Asamines brother is back soon.
With Asamines brother being the sulten we can see his older brother cares for him and looked after him. Maybe even sheltered him seeing how frail and not buffed up Asamine was before his departure to juvie. According to Asamine his brother wanted the group to represent self strength and not to go around starting fights for no reason so he intents to keep it that way until his brother returns.
If that is the case I can see the Jafar. ALADIN . Jasmine and Sulten conflict playing out in this show though differently. As we know Shindo has his own genie as in the original tale of Aladin there were two. Our regular genie and then the genie trapped by the sourcer in the ring.
That if Asamine does go directly to Shindo with the new infomation like he was planning to do. That directly leads him to where Arajn and Shindo are fighting. Enter the conflict.
Asamine is clearly being followed around by something. I think it is the genie attached to Shindo. That they eaither feel connected to Asamine more than Shindo or Shindo is using them to spy around on Asamine.
Eaither way, if Shindo doesn't know who Asamine is he certainly will when Arajen says his name. Probualy yells at him for always showing up.
Shindo will perk up at the name because its Interesting to me that they haven't been in the same scene together yet. Yet Zabu and Komao have been in the same scene as Shindo as though they are saving it for something.
Regardless. This will lead to Shindo wanting Asamine in his team. Eaither for his connection to the genie. Or to get back at Asamines older brother for what ever happend between them.
Which between this AND the Mahoro and Asamine scene would cause an even bigger divide between Asamine and Arajen.
Regardless I feel as though Shindo definetly knows Asamines brother and will take an interest in Asamine to take care of some twisted form of revenge

...We’re gonna pretend Saris got to kill him and Mortis isn’t an ass and does it for him. Given that Saris doesn’t follow Prologue/Chapter One of this story and took on Thanaton to protect Arajen because Saris is a weird damn Sith he thought Thanaton was being a dumbass and Arajen was useful, he REALLY wanted that kill after dealing with that bullshit.
Also, SITH DAD! ...Who has now earned the name of Sith Daddy from my friend because they hate me. :’)  (I love you, friend who I don’t want to name just in case I SWEAR!)

“Jealousy at the Tea Party” Part One 👀

I’m working on a AraJen mini comic rn so I’ve been thinking about how Arabella fits in the general plot/AU/her relationships with others—especially since she’s based off/AU-ified of one of the noble tea party girls.
Arabella dislikes Ijekiel and Roger, in a way where she judges them but would be able to bear with them if she had to.
Arabella was jealous of, but still interested in, Athy at first because of how much Jen unconditionally loves her as well as the fact no one has actually seen or met Athy aside from a very rare and quiet few.
Arabella grows to dislike Athy (jealousy aside) after meeting her a few times via tea parties
Arabella hates Lucas
To Arabella, Lucas is some sort of Magic purist, a hypocrite, someone who has no qualms about using the black magic he himself condemns so fervently (in this AU, black magic originated from human desire and desperation just like normal magic that fluctuates based off of emotion—people just started calling it black magic because human desires become ‘dirty’ and ‘uncontrollable’ when pushed to their limit and this often happened with commoners and those of ‘lower’ birth. Necromancy began by the urge to see dead loved ones again, curses began as cries of lament and justice, spells involving memory and heart originated from wanting to protect themselves from manipulation and pressure from those of higher status and power, etc.)
This is why Mana Beasts are emotional with strong personalities despite being ‘creations’—they’re basically physical manifestations of human emotion
Arabella especially hates the way Lucas treats Jennette and the way he makes it as if being born with black magic (the manifestation of human emotion) is a sin. She always knew something was weird with Jen which is why she stayed around, and only finds out she’s a ‘Chimera’ later on but it doesn’t change anything at all
In fact, it probably makes Arabella love Jennette more—because of course black magic that stemmed from raw human desire and emotion would result in the most lovable emotionally intelligent human she knows.
Which is why she finds Lucas laughable, because of course the hypocritical magic purist who hates black magic but still uses it is the most apathetic and inhumane person ever. Of course the one who constantly shames the only person he personally deems as ‘inhuman’ is more monstrous in comparison.
The reason why the heart freezing curses screwed up Claude and Lucas is because they are both men in/with power. Giving men in power the ability to not feel simply enables their psychopathic tendencies.
This explains Anastasius too—he’s screwed up, but unlike Lucas and Claude, still has his humanity and emotions because he never froze his heart
This also explains Aeternitas
Arabella meets Blackie only briefly, but loves them a lot

I have a deep feeling that Asamines brither is going to really really not like Arajin.
I'm starting to notice that Mohoro and Asamine seem to be parelles of one another. The complete opposite in many ways such as how-
Mohoro appears sweet on the outside but is feirce and selfish on the inside [I don't mean this in a bad way I absolutely love Mohoro] while Asamine seems intimidating and tough on the outside but is a softy and compassionate on the inside.
Both have older brothers, though we've only seen little on Asamines brither we can say, he appears to be outwardly responsible and appears put together while Marito appears more laid back and dresses in a messier fashion.
Both appear to care for their siblings.
But where I'm inclined to beleive Asamines brother won't like Arajin. Is how-
Mohoro doesn't like Arajin AT ALL [though that appears to be slowly changing now] and how her brither is basically obsessed with the guy.
And since Asamine is just as Arajen focused and never loses beleif in him. This leads me to think his brither will take the place of early Mohoro and see Arajen for all his negative traits where Asamine won't.
Espeically with episode 6 feeling like the end of the arc. It makes me wonder if his brither will show up in episode 8 if we get a little timeskip

...Its also probably a good thing that Fic saris DOESN’T go through Chapter One at all (That’s Arajen that does), because he would be in  anervous sweat the entire tim ehe was fighting with the Organas since his parents work with them as diplomatic aides. Like: “Oh shit, oh STARS, do NOT be here, y’all don’t know I’m Sith and we are NOT having this convo right now. N O P E!”  ...Anyway, that’s over! Time to get ghost grandpa’s lightsaber and go fight Zash!

*Everyone is standing around the broken coffee maker* Saris: So. Who broke it? I'm not mad, I just wanna know. Everyone: Sirul: ...I did. I broke it. Saris: No. No you didn't. Kaara? Kaara: Don't look at me. Look at Arajen. Arajen: What?! I didn't break it. Kaara: Huh, that's weird. How'd you even know it was broken? Arajen: Because it's sitting right in front of us and it's broken. Kaara: Suspicious. Arajen: No, it's not! Sharrat: If it matters, probably not, but Anja was the last one to use it. Kaara: Liar! I don't even drink that crap! Sharrat: Oh really? Then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier? Karra: I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows that, Sharrat! Sirul: Okay let's not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Saris. Saris: No! Who broke it!? Everyone: Sharrat: Saris... Kaara's been awfully quiet. Kaara: rEALLY?! *Everyone starts arguing* Saris, being interviewed: I broke it. I burned my hand so I punched it. Saris: I predict 10 minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with warpaint on their faces and a pig head on a stick. Saris: Saris: Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.

Saris: Rules are made to be broken. Sirul: They were made to be followed. Nothing is made to be broken. Kaara: Uh, piñatas. Sharrat: Glow sticks. Anja: Karate boards. Arajen: Spaghetti when you have a small pot. Saris: Rules. Sirul:

I like to think that there's almost no time between Thanaton issuing the Kaggath challenge and Saris finally fixing the ghost problem. ...This means Thanaton challenged an EXTREMELY sleep-deprived and half-feral Saris to war. Which is the WORST decision because HOO BOY is he full of hatred and self loathing at that point and probably about ready to lightning Thanaton's ass out of existance at that point. NOT EVEN FOR ARAJEN'S SAKE ANYMORE OH NO ITS PERSONAL NOW!
...So this also means that Thanaton runs out of the final fight to go whine to the Council after ALL THAT! So of course Saris (who is still sleep-deprived and even MORE full of rage) goes and tracks him down, faces him in front of the council and ENDS his freaking existance.
Now, you may be wondering, what's the point of this long line of thought? Well. Marr makes you a Darth in the SI story after that. So THIS MEANS that DARTH MARR HIMSELF took one look at this short, feral, angry, gremlin of a Sith Lord and decided: "this one is going on the council, have a seat, Darth Nox." ...and NO ONE ARGUED! They just let it happen! And Marr basically just privately decides that this FERAL GREMLIN is gonna be his protégé and all that! And this is all after the SW (haven't decided which one of mine is gonna follow story yet) killed Baras in front of all of them. Like... you really gotta be wondering how they all feel about this.
Bottom line, Saris becoming a Darth and the sequence of events surrounding it is COMPLETELY wild and the more thought I put into it the more I decend into my own gremlin laughter. :')
