been playing too many ocean / sea themed games as of late, this came to me in a vision

MAGISTA, TYRANT OF SLACKTIDE 🦀👑🦀

I drew a sketch of Magista earlier in the week and then decided I needed to clean it up AND draw a follow-up pose for the boss fight :] translating a very not-anthro crab into a human design was a very fun challenge! Plus, any excuse to draw a big evil woman am I right?

Here below is the lineart + all my sketches for the right pose bc this was also drawn as fanart for the VOD of @facefullabugz and @friendlyfrankenstein playing the game and they encourage folks to show off their process ^_^ go watch their vod here it's fun!

short video game reviews: another crab's treasure

Now more than ever that getting into a game on day one seems to mean you're playing through the worst version of it. My playthrough of ACT was heavily impacted by some of the worst performance bugs I've ever encountered, but it looks like most of them have been fixed just as I was wrapping up final boss.

This is a really fun, if more than a little janky, soulslike. It's kinda like a mirror image of lies of p - you get one weapon and a choice of fifty or so pieces of armour that each grant you different abilities. The bosses are frequently tough, the enemies are varied, and platforming is uncharacteristically fun for the most part.

All living creatures pray to me, you know. When they are about to be devoured. When the last of their blood is leaving their body. When they realize their death is certain. They do not form words. They do not ask for specifics. But they pray. They pray with their whole being. That somehow, against all logic, they will survive their ordeal. And I listen. I listen to every last one. I am this ocean's only god. I do not care for your verbal prayers. If you want to get my attention all you need do is scream.

Was not expecting to hear a line like this from the little crab game.
