Poon Hill is one of the best viewpoints in the Annapurna Region and offers magnificent mountain views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna massifs with an unblocked sunrise. You hike around an hour from Ghorepani to this hill station during the Poon Hill Trek, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, the Annapurna View Trek, and at the end of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. You can also visit this place while doing the Khopra Danda Trek and Mohare Danda Trek, but you won’t be here if you are on the Mardi Himal Trek or the Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek in the Annapurna Region.

You hike about an hour from Ghorepani early in the morning while doing the Poon Hill Trek, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, the Annapurna View Trek, and the Annapurna Circuit Trek. You can also hike to this hill while you are on Khopra Danda Trek and Mohare Danda Trek, but you miss this hill station and see different angles of views from Mardi Himal Trek and Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek.
