Of Valleys and Warriors: A Journey Through Nagaland's Timeless Beauty.
#throwbackthursday
Bringing back these frames from May, 2022, when traversing_polarities, @devbarooah , @priankobiswasphotography , and Nirmal went exploring the Naga Hills with our local expert @khazo_vikho, one of the best you can ask for if you ever visit Nagaland (which you should) It's funny how time flies, and you can just relive a memory by just glancing at a photograph. Frame 1- Picking fresh veggies in Asia's first green village Frame 2- Walking through the colourful paths of Khonoma Frame 3- Relaxing by the streams of Dzüleke Frame 4 and 5- Finding peace in Dzükou Valley These frames are from our popular chapter "Of Valleys and Warriors" An Angami Chapter, which is still running strong. Of Valleys and Warriors: Embrace the Vibrant Summers of Nagaland.
Summer is NOW! The vibrant hues of Dzükou Valley in full bloom, the succulent pineapples of Kohima, the lush green fields of Khonoma, and the meandering streams of Dzüleke, all come together to paint a dreamy summer escape. Don't believe us? Here are some frames from a recent trip to this belt in our chapter "Of Valleys and Warriors" An Angami Chapter For those interested, we have our next trip right around the corner, and this may just be the last of the lily blooming season. Typically, the Dzükou Lily blooms mid July, but nature has its own ways, so who knows? However, other flowers will still be growing till the frost of winter sets in. So if you're looking for that perfect summer escape, one which is far away from the hustle and bustle and chaos of the usual tourist destinations, this may just be something you like.
