Tbh I think that Paulo should end up getting mentored by Leaf and Red as like. A parallel to the mc having Blue as a mentor/older brother figure and also because Oh My God can SOMEONE please help this child out.

#moon.txt #I think that Red would be good at helping Paulo get stronger and learn how to more efficiently battle with his pokemon #And could probably help Paulo connect better with his pokemon and build a stronger bond with them #And Leaf could help with making sure that Paulo's taking it easy on himself and making sure that he rests and takes breaks and learns to #Let himself have more fun; and eventually work on breaking down Paulo's complex with getting stronger #Because HOLY FUCK DUDE is that an unhealthy mindset that will (and already has!) cause MAJOR problems for Paulo #I understand being fixated on growing stronger to a degree HOWEVER at one point it will cause MAJOR problems!!!!!#And we already see it causing problems for Paulo!!!!!! We see people like fucking Giovanni and Team Rocket recognizing Paulo's desire to #Become stronger as something they can manipulate!!!!#Unless someone addresses this with Paulo and helps him unlearn this mindset we will DEFINITELY see his already growing resentment towards #The mc into straight up hatred. Not to mention that if this continues he in his quest for more power will most likely end up hurting people #By going to whatever means it takes to become more powerful!!!#I don't think he'd like immediately jump into team rocket or smth like that. However I COULD ABSOLUTELY see him joining some sort of #antagonistic team in a misguided effort to get stronger #And so I think that he absolutely would benefit from being mentored by Leaf and Red.
