Who goes to a university library to have a half hour phone call over speakers at their top volume? Sir???? Some people here are trying to work????
#If it were important business I could understand#but this is just a meandering conversation about nothing#The amount of side eyes from passerbys is amazing#I'm sitting in a nook next to the printer to check over my scans' legibility before printing#so there's a lot of shared looks with raised eyebrows and amused smiles going on#Also yeah checking scans isn't working per se#but I have to run some abbreviations through three different websites to find the right passages to copy too#and it's annoying to try and compare Latin editions to one another with someone complaining about the weather on speaker#and the other party going hmmm yeah good point#Like sirs????#Anyhow they hung up#so back to Livius I go
