saoirse ronan as thena prince — 28, they/she, model turned pr agent, pansexual. fun and energetic, thena's the complete opposite of somin when it comes to running the firm; they're very close with the local football team, as she used to date some of the players before realizing they wanted to be a little more independent. inspired by keeley jones from ted lasso.

You know what a real Hard Sell is? Neal's clearly mutilated psyche trying to convince anyone that Peter is capable of greedy villainous treachery.

Hard Sell:

Notably, despite already having jumped out of a judge's window and making a deal with Interpol, this is actually the first episode Neal openly misbehaves. We see his very passive aggressive brand of defiance. Even so, none of it makes him unlikable for a couple of reasons. The Kate situation is making him irrational on top of the fact that every significant adult in his life has lied to his face daily. Also, his last significant partner, Matthew Keller, killed a man right in front of him. It's never stated, but that repulsive visual is likely why Neal does not care for firearms.

It's really sweet how Neal starts off in adamant refusal that Peter is the agent controlling Kate. He really believes he knows his handler too well for that. He has plenty of reason to hold that position, considering how often Peter forgives him in season one alone. Still, past scars are hard to ignore 24/7.

So sweet and funny of Peter to praise Neal's skills and intelligence behind his back. Then, he takes the first opportunity to deflate his boy's ego in private.

Only halfway into the season and Peter's gone from not even wanting Neal on his block to needing minimum convincing to have him over in the middle of the night. Very cute that Jones is agent-ing and El is wife-ing, but Daddy's Boy is chillin' at the table with Papa Peter.

For a guy so spellbound by riches, Neal wanting Peter's low-budget treasures- quantico pen and FBI ring- is simply adorable.

Neal: Will I be like you one day, Dad?

Peter: No. By which I, of course, mean yes.

Peter going Punisher 😎

Peter: If my boy is dying, I'm taking these MFs out. Eff self-persevation😡

Peter pumped life back into Neal. That settles it- James' chromosomes are completely null and void 🎆

While Peter will never stab you in the back, he'll certainly send a swift kick to your backside when necessary.

Bonus points for this recollection. When Peter confronts her. Kate's so shaky she can barely hold onto that gun. Even while speaking casually and not standing at his full height, Peter's alpha essence is intimidating.

Don't kill yourself.

Do remember there are many people willing to pump life back into you💛
