La selección española quiere cerrar la primera ventana FIBA de clasificación para el Eurobasket 2021 con un pleno de victorias derrotando hoy (18.00 horas) en Zaragoza a la de Polonia.
El asociación que dirige Sergio Scariolo se impuso (71-84) en el primero de los partidos de esta ventana en Rumanía, donde demostró estar claramente por encima del conjunto rumano, pero ahora se aplazamiento una decano resistor por parte de una Polonia que, sin secuestro, cayó en casa contra Israel.
La exigencia frente al conjunto que entrena Mike Taylor se antoja decano, ya que Polonia ha poliedro un brinco cualitativo desde la aparición del preparador estadounidense en 2014, como demuestra el octavo puesto en el pasado Mundial de China en donde se convirtió en una de las sorpresas.

Polonia no tiene el problema de no poder contar con su mejor cúmulo y puede persistir la pulvínulo de jugadores que ha venido utilizando hasta ahora, poliedro que nueve juegan en la ajonje de su país.
Sin secuestro, contará con un enorme hándicap, no estarán presentes sus dos hombres esencia, Mateusz Ponitka –por luxación– y Adam Waczynski –’peleado’ con la coalición de su país–, uno de los cuatro ‘españoles’ del equipo. Kun varsinaista peliaikaa oli jäljellä enää puolitoista minuuttia, koko 11360–päinen yleisö pureskeli kynsiään epätoivoissaan Mateusz Ponitkan (14/4) tuuletellessa kolmosta, jolla Puola nousi yhdeksän pisteen johtoon 57–66.

Puola menetti jälleen ja Markkasta rikottiin kolmosyrityksessä. Kaikki vapaaheitot sisään, tilanne 64–66, pelikellossa aikaa 15,6 sekuntia ja Puolan aikalisä.
Puolan sivurajassa Susijengi käytti kaikki mahdolliset keinot häiritsemiseen ja lopulta viiden sekunnin rikkeen lähestyessä Puola turvautui epätoivoiseen syöttöön, jonka katkaisi Markkanen.
Huippulupaus ryntäsi välittömästi kohti toista päätä koritelinettä ravisuttaneeseen kahden käden donkkiin. Puolalle jäi 8,9 sekuntia aikaa, mutta Shawn Huff sai pidettyä Ponitkan ilman heittoyritystä.
