A long ways back I was doing a lot of prep, wrote a pretend pilot and got some storyboards made and commissioned some music, but it mostly just for my own sake and in a day dream kind of way, I never officially threw it out there or tried to get funding from outside sources.

it kinda bums me out how regular it’s gotten that when i post my own doodles or artwork, i suddenly lose a handful of followers? granted it doesn’t get to me too bad, bc a) i don’t go out of my way to track or worry about that, usually i just accidentally notice the number out of the corner of my eye, and b) i’m super grateful for the regular audience i know i have who support me and with whome i have a ton of fun interacting with via comments, tags and asks, and the super nice messages i get telling me how much my love my art/characters!

but when it happens it still does make me go “???” and wonder what the people who leave each time had originally followed me for and/or what about the drawing that just went up was the last straw for them lmao
