Sometime during the 1950s, a previous owner fell in love with mint green and painted the whole interior of the house in this zippy color. We wanted to tone things down just a bit and pull colors in from the outside landscape while also keeping in a traditional Georgian/Early American/ Colonial color palette. In our first fully painted room, on the plaster walls it’s Bit of Sugar, on the original 1750s trim and doors it’s Chinese Jadeite and on the original wide plank floor it’s Sage Brush.
