The Goddess of the hearth has manifested in response to the pruning of the timeline. Although not a goddess that intervenes much in the affairs of mortals, she has heard of a tragedy that has befallen her family in another world and as the eldest it is her duty to look after her siblings. She is summoned as a demi-servant of one of her priest, using Chaldea itself as a summoning catalyst.

Personality:

Hestia is a friendly older lady, that wants everyone to have a good time. She is uncannily good in making other people open up and is always willing to lend an ear with some good advice. If someone has trouble or needs someone to talk, she wants to be the first one you think of.

A goddess that favors humans but never directly intervened on their behalf. Behind her easy smile and motherly attitude hides a sense of great responsibility and shame. She regrets the fact that she never tried to help humans directly or even to prevent her siblings from causing as much harm as they have. This is her wish. To act in this new manifestation as someone she wished she was back in the Age of Gods. 

The Greek gods are machines that, through their interactions with humanity, become more human themselves. Hestia is the one that was affected the most by this exchange, since she was a widely worshipped deity and one many people prayed to. However, she never talked her siblings out of their cruel behavior, thinking that it was not her place to speak against them. Manifesting in the modern World, Hestia is overjoyed that women no longer have to hold their tongue and seeks to live life as she pleases. She will be sure to say when things bother her, or speak up against all manner of cruel behavior.

Hestia looks like an older woman in a white Greek toga. Her first ascension has her add a cloak. In her third ascension she swaps the white toga for a gold one with intricate designs. She also gains a crown

However, Hestia refuses to use this power offensively and instead uses the effect to protect her family. (A certain Titan might possess this skill too, but Hestia isn’t talking about any potential connection between them)

Summoning: Hestia, the Goddess of the hearth, home, domesticity, family, and the state. I have manifested to help out. Master, is there a hearth to gather around?

Bond 1: Chaldea is a great place. But it can’t compare to my hearth on Mt Olympus. I’ll show it to you sometime.

Bond 2: Hm? I’m not what you were expecting of a greek goddess? Well, I prefer to be outside the spotlight, so it might be that.

Bond 3: This body is the body of one of my beloved priestess. Have you heard of the Vestal Virgins? This one has offered herself as a temporary body for me.

Bond 4: My siblings have caused so much harm to humans. I love them still, but I do wish I intervened. But that is why I am here now master. As the eldest it is my duty to be an example to my younger siblings.

Bond 5: I see now Master. You are Chaldea’s hearth. You hold it all together. I know that burden and that is why you can always come to me with your problems. I will support you. That is what a family does.

Da Vinci: You are the caretaker of this facility? We don’t have much in common but I must say, you do an excellent job. I hope you find joy in the family you have found.

Any other languages aside from English people can contact you in?: I would say a little bit of French but probably best not to haha.

Favourite Riverdale characters and ships?: Betty, Jughead, Cheryl (after she reconciled herself), Mary, Midge (rip), Valerie (somehow fell off the face of the earth?), Fred! My favourite ships are definitely Bughead and Choni, they’re just so adorable!!

Favourite moments from S1 & S2?: My favourite episode was 2x09 because of how the writers executed it, I know a lot of people disliked it but I thought the storylines in that made sense (Not because of the lack of bughead, I liked the actual CONTENTS and not just the shipping aspect.) 2x12 was also really good! In terms of bughead content,obviously 2x12 and 2x14 were the most bughead filled parts of Season 2, but I really liked 2x05 because man, that pulled at the heartstrings. Stuff like the ‘I believe you, Jughead.’ scene was what made Season 1 really cute in terms of Bughead. I also really liked the dynamic they had between Betty and Jug in S2.

What are your hopes for S3?: In terms of Bughead, I really want to see RAS giving them a chance to act like real teenagers not 25 year olds. I want to see them being all cuddly and just being happy for once!! I’m also super intrigued to see where the serpent storyline will go, and how Betty will interact with Gladys and Jellybean.

Other fandoms you’re into?: Nothing, really. I used to be a huge Hunger Games and Harry Potter nut, so you can still talk to me about those! I also LOVE The Office, it’s my other favourite TV show!

Something non-fandom you love?: Reading, art, and baking!

What are some of your favourite movies/TV?: Oh, BOY. This question is really hard. For TV, obviously Riverdale is my number one, but The Office US comes a close second. I got so invested in The Office and it was so difficult to see it end. For movies, the Sound of Music can’t really be beat in my books. It’s such a timeless classic that i’ve loved forever. La La Land is my VERY close second, that film was and still is the death of me. Lady Bird was an INCREDIBLE film, I really related to it and its bittersweetness and sentimentality! And classic musicals like Mamma Mia and Grease.

Favourite books?: I read a lot, so I’m so excited to share some of my faves! Obviously the Harry Potter series, that influenced me a lot. The Hunger Games trilogy was also really gripping and I loved that. The Sun Is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon was so enlightening and I loved that. The Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Saldinger, such a classic and I loved the way it was written. Turtles All The Way Down by John Green is a really good book that brings light to mental health in a less harsh sense which is perfect for me. I’m also reading The Circle by Dave Eggers at the moment which is great so far!

Favourite bands/musicians?: I don’t really listen to anyone in particular, but my 2 favourites are Adele and Sam Smith.

If you could live in any fictional world which one would you choose and why?: I feel like everyone says this, but probably Harry Potter. I wouldn’t want to risk the chance of getting murdered in Riverdale tbh!

Favourite food?: This question is so so SO difficult but I’d have to say shoestring fries with aioli and a huge side of salad.

Favourite season?: Spring! All the flowers bloom and all the baby animals are born, it’s starting to get warmer but it stills rains! Everything about it is just wonderful.

Favourite plant?: Baby’s breath! It’s so delicate and sweet.

Favourite scent?: Starfruit or vanilla bean. Starfruit is such a fresh and pleasant scent, while vanilla makes me feel all cosy and calm.

Favourite colour?: Pink, pink, pink!! I love it so much.

Favourite animal?: Can I be boring and say dogs? I just love them.

Are you a night owl, an early bird, or a vampire?: Can I say none of these? I love sleep so mornings are not for me, and being a vampire is a big no-no. So I guess I would say night owl, as I’d rather go to sleep late than wake up early.

Place you want to visit?: All over Europe - it’s such a beautiful and interesting continent.

Do you have pets?: If you do, tell us a little about them: Yes I do! I have a schnoodle (schnauzer + poodle cross). He is the cutest little thing and always gives me snuggles even though he really just wants food haha. I love him to death.

Tell us a little about yourself?: I mean, what’s there to tell? Hmm… I guess I could say I’m a creative person. Work that I’m not inspired by is really difficult for me such as areas like mathematics or science. I’ve always been a creative soul, I much prefer the arts over sitting at a computer and typing equations or finding out molecular structures. That stuff just doesn’t interest me! I’ve always been a girly girl at heart, as I said before I adore the colour pink and cutesy things. Tying in with being a girly girl, I’ve been a hopeless romantic since I can remember. I feel like I always look at the idealistic side of things, which doesn’t help me being a perfectionist. To all the people who aren’t perfectionists, lucky you. It’s beyond frustrating when something isn’t how I want it to be. Making art and other things is a challenge for me, if I’m not completely happy with what I’ve done, I will throw it out. There’s a running joke that I’m not allowed to give up on a piece anymore because I’m that bad! I’ve always been super academic, I’ve never been one for sport as it doesn’t activate my mind as such. Although I must say, swimming is something I’ve always been good at. I’m such a water baby! I’m super in to fashion and photography, it really interests me how you can express yourself through simple things like what you wear. I think that’s it!

Fun or weird fact about you?: My pinky finger on my right hand moves completely on its own. I can move it up and down without any of my other fingers moving. I haven’t met one person who can do it too!

Asks for fanfic authors:

How long have you been writing?: About 3 years now!

Which is your favourite of the fics you’ve written?: Well I mean My Muse Yet My Saviour as that’s the only thing I’ve done in the bughead fandom so far!

Favourite fic/chapter/plot-point/character you’ve ever written?: Probably Chapter 9 of MMYMS. (Spoiler if you haven’t read it!) I was really glad I got to incorporate Jellybean into the story and write her out in my own way as I’ve seen other writers do before. I can’t wait to see how she’s portrayed in S3!

Which was the hardest to write, and why?: All of it, to be honest. Writing is difficult for me as I get bored easily with a lot of things and I have to push myself to put out the best content I possibly can.

How do you come up with the ideas for you fic(s)? (examples: Do you draw inspiration from real life? Listen to music? Get inspired by TV/movies?) Do you have an process to your writing?: Can I say my brain? I just make stuff up as I go along, and somehow make it work! There’s no rhyme or reason to my writing either - I just word vomit onto my document and then organise it!

Idea that you always wanted to write?: Just normal, teenagery bughead. I think that’d be adorable!

Favourite character to write?: Betty - she has so much versatility and you can create a lot of dimension with her!

Best comment/review you’ve ever received?: All of them. I’m so appreciative of all the praise I get, it really motivates me to create more content. Thank you to anyone who’s ever commented, I appreciate you!!

Best and worst parts of being a writer?: Best is probably having that creative outlet to share your work and ideas. It gives me a chance to share all my thoughts and feelings in a way and I love it! Worst is probably the time it takes. Mostly I don’t have enough free time to write and when I do I’m not in the mood. Finding that balance is really difficult.

Do you have any advice to offer?: Keeping working hard! If you don’t push yourself, your work won’t be of your best ability. Giving yourself a challenge shows off your skills and makes you work harder than before, which really pays off.

The Best for Last | Klance circus!au

This is the first time I'm writing in a long time -and the first time I write about Voltron-, so please bear with me if it's not the best, I tried ;; also, English is not my first language, so if you see any grammar mistakes please point them out and I'll change it ASAP! Also, thank you to @salamandraimoral​ for letting me use her !au for this, you should go check her amazing art ♥

"Come on, Pidge," a very annoyed Keith told his best friend as she dragged him through the various booths where food was served and games were played all throughout the place. Crossing his arms, he looked around, hoping to find something that could entertain him for even a little bit. "You know I'm not fond of this stuff, I only agreed to come so that you wouldn't come alone; can we take a break to sit down or something?"

It was a loud summer night in Austin as the city seemed to burst with life; from every corner of the place, people gathered to see the main attraction that day, the travelling carnival that had arrived to the city only two days ago and that promised to deliver only the very best from their scene; carrousels, bumper cars, and many typical games like balloon and darts (which Pidge always claimed were rigged). It seemed as if not even a single person wanted to miss the event, and everywhere they looked, they could only see the moving crowd grow and grow.

Biting her steaming slice of pizza, Pidge supressed a laugh as she said, "Not a chance, dude," and then headed to another booth, where a young man was advertising the amazing prizes one could win by defeating another in a video game. "We've been here for only one and a half hours, there's no way I'm leaving until at least 1 am. Now, excuse me, I have a nice 3DS waiting for me here; don't go too far or we'll lose each other!" she yelled as she walked into the booth, and Keith was sure that he wouldn't see her for a while; she was always determined to win when it came to technology, and he could only feel sorry for her opponent.

Sighing, he eyed everything before deciding he'd look for a place to sit for a moment and rest his legs. It took him a while to see that every bench in sight was already occupied, and he almost resigned his search when he came across a wooden sign in the shape of an arrow pointing in the way he was going.

'Circus: this way. Don't miss the show! 10:30pm.'

"A circus?" he said in a low voice, "That must be interesting. " Whether there was sarcasm or not in his tone, not even him could decide. Checking his phone, he saw there was only twenty more minutes until it began, so he decided to hurry up.

He kept on going forward through the multitude of people until he came across a big tent, almost too big to be called 'tent', blue and white. It was a bit separated from the rest of the carnival due to its size, but people seemed eager to enter: the line was already long, and he scurried to get a place before it could get longer. The entrance ticket cost Keith 5 dollars, the only amount of money he'd used so far that night, and he was fast enough to get a front row seat.

Minutes passed and, when everyone was in their seats and the place was packed, the lights turned off, with only the spotlight pointing to the centre of the ring still on. A small man, the ringmaster, came into view, dressed in a fancy grey suit and holding a white rose on his right hand. Clearing his throat, he spoke loud and clear.

"Good evening, ladies and gentleman of Austin! Welcome to the Neverland Circus. We're very glad we're able to visit your beautiful city and show you everything that we're proud of. Keep in mind, your minds may be confused right now, but it's through the confusion," as he said those words, he raised the rose, hid it inside his jacket for a second and pulled it back out to show that now he was holding a white candle instead, "that we can enlighten ourselves and divert our minds from all that troubles us." With a quick snap of his fingers, the candle lit itself, and as a reflex everyone in the crowd clapped loudly as the man bowed. "We'll put on a show you'll never forget," were his last words before he introduced the first act.

An Asian man danced through the ring to a melody Keith couldn't recognize while juggling with large knives; a few times it seemed as if he was going to drop one or trip with his own foot, making everyone fear for his life, but it all was proven to be part of the act as he finished his performance almost flawlessly. Next came a tall, slender, orange-haired man with a big moustache accompanied by a fat one, both dressed up as mimes, acting as if they were trying to think of different ways to win over the ladies on the audience but failing to do so, with the women giggling as they grabbed the imaginary roses handed to them.

Sword eaters, knife throwers, and even a group of dancing midgets were all part of the line-up. Keith had lost track of time when the ringmaster came back to the ring for one last announcement. "Ladies and gentleman, we hope you've been having a great time tonight. I'm afraid it's almost time to wrap things up, but we wanted to leave the best for last. Here it is, our biggest pride, the last show of the night."

Lights turned off once more as a soft tune started playing in the background. In the darkness, a big hoop connected to a cable slowly came down from the ceiling as two figures approached the centre. One, a woman of long, white hair and dark skin, dressed in an opal leotard and holding a ribbon on her right hand. The other, almost the same height, a man of short brown hair, dressed in a blue and black leotard with blue gaiters. Both of them had their faces painted with dots and lines of various colours, and it wasn't hard for them to immediately catch the attention of everyone in the room.

The man grabbed the hoop and sat on it as it started going up again, while the woman started to dance to the music, waving the ribbon along with her body. The moves she made were enticing, telling the story of someone's heartbreak or falling in love; the two of them seemed so similar in her own world that one couldn't even begin to tell them apart.

Soon enough, the man moved too, and it was only then that Keith could see what they were all about: the woman was a born-contortionist, dancing and twisting her body as if it was no big deal and adding even more emotion to the melody, and the young man was a skilled aerial acrobat, hanging from every position imaginable as he followed the beat.

Keith didn't notice that he had been staring at him until the man's eyes met his own, making him blink a couple of times as he noticed his heart was racing. 'What are you doing, Kogane?' he asked himself, but he didn't have the chance to reply as the hoop started going down again while swinging ever so slightly. The music was stronger and his mind got even more clouded, but even through the jumble that was now his head, he saw it. He saw the way the music adjusted to his movements and not vice versa, he saw the determination in his eyes, he saw the passion and the lack of hesitation with which he moved his body. And he loved every single bit of that.

He wondered about him, his name, his age, when he had started with all of this, but the more questions popped up the more frustrated he got, knowing that it would be almost impossible to even talk to him. Even so, the look on his eyes as he waltzed through the air was mesmerizing, and he couldn't help but get lost in it. While the hoop swung over the ring, the guy let himself fall once more, grabbing it with his left leg and smiling proudly as he imitated a bird who just took flight.

He thought that he had never seen someone so beautiful and dedicated, and as the performance ended, half the audience was already standing up and clapping their hearts out, but he couldn't bring himself to take his eyes off the man who had brought so many feelings into his mind that night. When they were both together on the ground again, the acrobats stood happily in the centre, breathing heavily, waving, bowing, and sending flying kisses as the crowd showered them with applause and whistling.

And then, it happened.

The man looked straight at him, there was no doubt about it. Showing him his best smile, he waved in his direction, and Keith could only stare at him with his lips slightly parted. Was he hallucinating? He didn't know, and he didn't want to find out. Gathering all his courage, he shouted, "You were great!" to which the guy replied by giving him a thumbs up and a playful wink before turning around to leave while holding the woman's hand.

For a moment the air outside seemed warmer, more welcoming than ever before. He wasn't sure of what he had felt, but as he left the tent amidst the mass the one thing he was certain of was that he had to see the young man again. He needed to. Planning to tell Pidge to come back with him the next day, he wandered through the fair for a while lost in his own little train of thought when he felt someone grabbing him by the collar of the shirt.

"Hey!" Pidge exclaimed at the top of her lungs as she turned him around with an angry look on her face and the 3DS she had wanted so much on her left hand. "Where the hell have you been? I've been looking for you for 30 minutes now. And what's with the stupid smile on your face? You're all red, I could've confused you with a tomato."

There was so much to tell her, so much to share, and as he laughed he wrapped an arm around her shoulders, much to her surprise. "You know, Pidge," he said as he recalled the past hour, "I think that I started to like this place already."

She only looked at him and muttered, "Who are you and what have you done with Keith?"

I’d be glued to Ruby Rose from RWBY 24. What’s something you’d like the chance to do someday?: become fluent in each of my chosen languages 25. Or do generally prefer to not rock the boat?: I try to when someone is not getting any other support or the offender is wrong, but sometimes I don’t care to do excess research to seem more “valid” to others 26. (Neither tattoo can be removed or concealed with makeup, and the ugly tattoo will deeply offend anyone who sees it.): I wouldn’t get a tattoo at all but of the two, the one on my face. I wouldn’t want something offending on my body. 48. Are you more of an optimist or a pessimist?: both, but maybe more pessimist? I don’t know lol 49. What would be the most flattering compliment someone could give you?: compliments make me shy so probably anything genuine 50.
