The Perks of Being A Wallflower,
Dear Friend (or Acquaintance?)
So I just saw the movie and it really touched me in a way. Like...in the "I want to cry" kind of way.
It really reminded me of you. You know...the people and their stories and what happened to them. Especially Sam/Charlie. I guess their stories of how when they were children and were I guess...physically harassed as children really got to me. It reminded me of you.
They're both really broken. Well, kind of. Sam isn't as broken as Charlie...she's a little older and she's grown. On the other hand, Charlie is struggling with his problem. However, in the end he conquers it. Along the way he had some friends, and it really helped him.
I hope that one day you can conquer it too.
If ever, I'll always be your friend if you need me.
