@ghostlyanon asked. After seeing countless faces passing by today beyond the screen, the familiar visage of the fabled architect that peeked in was the most welcomed sight. But sealed away in this bizarre engine as she was, would the architect be able to recognise her through this guise?
There was little time left ot ponder! Would she not managed to snatch his attention, he would turn around and leave her behind as yet another accesory. She began trying to retain his interest and, cupped in the palm of his hand, from the oval device came forth beeping sounds of glee. The graphics that now depicted her self smiled as brightly as she was able to.

Please, don’t put her away again!

"See, it did it again! I know it sounds— But I think it's.. trying to communicate with me. Don't you?" It's a small triumph for Kaveh; the way Alhaitham doesn't seem completely uninterested in what he's saying, deigning, even, to peel lips away from the rim of the cup of coffee, to finally ( finally ) look where he's pointing.
'..So there's a person inside. Trapped.' They have both heard stories. Most took place in the desert; involved strange artifacts, like the one the architect was holding. 'What now?'
"Ahm, well.." Instinctively did Kaveh hold it a little tighter, a forlorn look on his face and a missing heartbeat as he pondered. "It only took Madam Faruzan a hundred years to.." ( sigh ) No. What was he saying? "—I'm a graduate of Kshahrewar. I'll handle this. I can help them."
Or —he vowed— he would wither in the attempt.

Words imbued with a renewed, fragile optimism, which was already threatening to crumble, were it not for the symbols that plagued the screen, drawing another sigh from him. A lighter one. "Just give me a moment.."
