Who are your muses best friends?
Arthur's best friends are: @bertievi's George VI; @admiraltyspride's Lord Nelson; @ageofxail's Daniel/America (husband!!!), Noel/England & Royal Navy; my Jack/London; & @xbasilrp's Toni/Spain (spicy boyfriend).
Not quite besties but very close platonically (unless otherwise noted) are @terrorcaptain's Crozier (very father-son tbh); Thera at @therapardalis; Mycroft at @governmentofficial (also husband!); @hope-on-hope-ever's John Franklin (friends/colleagues in general but also estranged father and bastard son in THAT ONE AU); endearingly fond of @imprvdente's Fish; & Pris at @herstoriies
@honorhearted gets an honorable (ha!) mention because of how complicated Ben and Art's relationship is. Arthur admires Ben but also wants to punch him in the nose. Arthur enjoys punching things though, so take that with a whole spoon of salt. He genuinely wants the Americans to win and believes Ben to be a properly good man--part of the reason he razzes Ben like he does is because there's really no other way (in Art's opinion) to try and shake Ben out of seeing the war as a largely black and white problem. He sees a lot of himself in Ben--they are both educated, stubborn, hot-headed, and courageous in stupid ways, and they both have a heart. Arthur doesn't want to see America get its start as a country with all of the kindness burned out of all its founders. They are... complicated.
I don't like to go godmode people, but Art's "default" is that he is besties with Portugal, France, India, U.S. America. However, I handle that on a case-by-case basis because, again, it would be shitty of me to force that decision on other writers.
Goodsir's besties are: The Henry Collins that lives in my head; @tooxldtorememxer's John Irving; @herstoriies' Priscilla (big fat crush on her too tbh!!!!!); @therapardalis; @terrorcaptain; Silna at @tatteredxsails; @bertievi of course; he's also pretty close with @ageofxail's Noel; & @imprvdente's Fish; & he has........ complicated feelings about @honorhearted's Ben.
Thomas Blanky's besties are: @wantsusdead's Francis (I mean we just started threading but LISTEN-); oh also @terrorcaptain's Francis (+ husband); he's also super fond of @admiraltyspride too; can't forget about the Sidebear, thank u @tatteredxsails; & if I get my way he's going to continue to 'Dad' at @imprvdente!!!!!
The Railroad Man has no besties because he's an abject piece of sh oh wow, Moriarty actually!! @multipleoccupancy

I've just been forced to face the fact that Legends fans are a minority and it's really depressing, so now I'm going to think about my ridiculously self-indulgent Rogue Squadron Vestara AU.
The more think about it, the more I question how in-character it actually is for her to choose to do this. If the idea is to choose her own path, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for her to choose a path that still puts her in a specific defined command structure where she doesn't actually have much freedom. Then again, Rogue Squadron historically isn't known for being particularly disciplined.
I guess if all she's trying to do is find herself. In canon we don't get to see her piloting much, but as far as I remember she enjoys the first flight she takes in Ship. I don't think it's too much of a stretch for her to want to exercise her piloting skill more, especially since the Lost Tribe don't really seem to use any fighters, and the helms of those shitty old Corporate Sector frigates would more likely be reserved for at least Sabers.
She enjoys flying, it's not a skill she's had much of a chance to use - at least not in regular ships - and she's trying to explore herself in new ways and stuff. I think it makes enough sense.
In terms of strict command structures, I think it would make a lot of difference for her that in a regular military, everyone isn't constantly plotting to stab each other in the back.
And, like, at this point Syal's more familiar with treason and knowing when you need to defy the command structure than Wedge was at her age. All that LotF angst has to have been good for something, and I've already talked about some of my headcanons for what happened to her after she ended up among the Jedi in Fury.
I'm operating under the vague assumption that this story is supposed to be continuitous (if that's even a word) to Guiding Star, which is the theoretical story that details the events that Syal and Wedge and Tycho and Gavin went through while Revelation but mostly Invincible happened. An important part of her character in LotF is that by Fury, she's come to question her own judgement as much as she questions her superiors, and I haven't planned it very much, but I assume part of her arc in Guiding Star involves her resolving that, and that she now believes she has enough experience to determine for herself whether the current government is or isn't worth spending lives for.
(Side note: 44 ABY is the year Syal turns 27, which makes her probably the same age here as Wedge is in the first X-Wing book, and I love that symmetry, trivial though it is.)
I've been thinking of it as Vestara actually joining the Rogues three or four months after FotJ (on a ten-month in-universe calendar), so by now Ves has had plenty of time to gain experience with X-Wings, and learn from most of the best pilots alive. Also, at this point, Syal's had enough time to consider Wynn Dorvan's decisions as the next Chief of State and decide the GA under him is worth spending lives for. He is a genuinely good guy, FotJ just puts him in bad situations constantly.
According to at least Luke, Daala was doing a fine job until FotJ. Syal wouldn't have agreed with Daala's actions during FotJ, but in the timeskip, at least, I think Syal would have probably continued to lead the version of the Rogues that she inherited at the end of the Second Galactic Civil War.
(Second side note: I'd like some kind of story that actually demonstrates Daala having done a good job as Chief of State.)
The other pilots on Rogue Squadron at this point are a point of much questioning.
I'm going with the idea that there was another reorganization of the squadron after the end of FotJ, to update the roster. At least half the point of Rogue Squadron is political symbolism and representation and stuff, and there are some educated guesses to be made from that.
In addition to Syal herself, a convenient addition is Zueb Zan, the Sullustan who was her gunner when she flew Alephs. That's a relationship Syal already has, and what little there is to see of him in canon makes me like him enough.
The other canon character I can think of to add here is Drathan Forge, Inyri's great-nephew who shows up briefly at the end of Outcast, when they have to blow up the ancient artifacts beneath the mines of Kessel before said artifacts blow up the planet. In that scene, Drathan claims to be a skilled pilot, and says he has provisional Academy acceptance, and that he'd have to keep his grades up for another year. So the end of FotJ is about when he'd be getting in. If this is a few months after that, I'd find it acceptable for him to get into the Rogues on the basis of skill and family history. Hells, Inyri didn't have any formal training.
Anyway, the implicitly successful diplomatic reintegration of at least the major players of the Confederation during FotJ leads to the roster including a token Bothan and also a token Commenorian. The whole Treaty of Vontor issue results in a token Klatooinian or something. Syal herself is Corellian, obviously.
Drathan, I expect, is a representative of the various corporate enterprises currently operated by Lando. I think in Outcast, Lando has a line about how he's selling to the private sector since the SGCW (maybe before that), and if I recall correctly that implies that he's potentially enabling stuff like YVH droids to end up in the hands of enemies of the Alliance.
I'd buy the Alliance having someone who's from Kessel, another one of Lando's operations, in Rogue Squadron as an attempt to convince Tendrando Arms to be more loyal to them.
Anyway, Vestara's role in this is as both a token Jedi and a token ex-Sith. She's not ready to commit to the Jedi path yet, but if she doesn't fully leave the Order and instead is still being trained by Luke on the side, they might play her up as proof that despite the Jedi Order leaving the Alliance's authority and stuff, they haven't abandoned the Alliance completely. That would be especially important in the aftermath of the end of FotJ, and how I've decided the official line of the GA is that Abeloth was an instrument of the Sith. Especially, but not necessarily, if I decide to work this plotline into Voices of the Force, where her influence stretched far beyond Coruscant.
Also, the fact that Vestara used to be a Sith is useful too. Between Abeloth and Caedus, hate for the Sith is probably the highest it's been since... I don't even know. The highest it's been in millennia, maybe. Even Palpatine, as I recall, wasn't nearly as public about it in his life as Caedus was at the end.
If they can show people a former Sith who's been redeemed, the Jedi might prevent public opinion from going so far as to approve, for example, Kesh being glassed and its mostly innocent population killed. The Alliance doesn't know where it is, so that's not an immediate concern, but it is a concern nonetheless.
That's still only seven out of twelve.
I think Vestara's new girlfriend is someone in a position of a friend to the Rogues, but not actually in their command structure, because that way it won't get weird if one of them gets promoted.
Another headcanon I have is that the age of majority in the Galactic Alliance is 14, a relic of the strategic realities of the late stages of the Vong War, so theoretically there's no rule preventing people Vestara's age from having a position here.

Alphabet Headcanons!
List a headcanon that correlates with each letter of the English Alphabet. Can you list that many? It’s harder than it looks! Any tidbit of information counts, from the simplest fun fact to the lengthiest lore!
Tumblr media
A - Red Jessica is an Aries. Her moon sign is Taurus and her rising is Leo. She’s also a cusp baby, giving her Pisces leanings.
B - She has quite a few books in her massive library, but her favorites are The Art of War, Anthony and Cleopatra, On the Origin of Species, The Prince, An Essay Concerning Human Understanding, Frankenstein, and Treasure Island. She reads more textbooks than anything else tho. She really wants to like Jane Austin but she just... can’t.  ( unrelated, I was trying to figure which Shakespeare play would be Jess’s fav and found this. Y’all I screamed. )
C - Cats are her favorite animal. Any kind of cat. The grace, the lore, the silliness, the toe beans; they’re majestic little idiots and she loves them. She has two of her own. Sasha and Rosie. Jessica’s loved cats since she first made friends with one as a very little girl and she remembers every cat she’s ever had or been friends with.  Her first cat was an alley cat that followed her around that she uncreatively named Katjie
D - Dutch Afrikaans and English are her native languages, she grew up speaking both. However, she hasn’t really needed to speak Afrikaans since her mother died, and is no longer fluent as a result. Her first word was “Ahoy” but her second word was “geld.”
E - Red Jessica has some ridiculous eating antics, as a result of living in starvation from birth to late childhood and living as a pirate from then on.  She can bite directly into onions and garlic cloves as if they were apples, will eat ( or save ) the bones and fat of any meaty meal, can eat an entire apple- core included, loves to eat or chew on citrus peels and raw herb leaves, has a somewhat high tolerance for both spicy things and alcohol, and, like all pirates, has learned to tolerate most rotten/stale/moldy/expired food.  On top of that, her pursuit in studying biology and botany crowns her as probably the ONLY person in all of the Neversea who knows what nutrition is and how it works. Also eating avocados make her ears itch.
F - One of Jessica’s signature mannerisms is putting her fists up by her face. When excited or overjoyed she’ll shake them and when shes shy she’ll kind of hide her smile with them. She rests her chin on her fists, holds them still by her jaw when waiting in suspense, and its immediately where her fists fly to when startled or snuck up on ( with the exception of when shes armed, to which her hands fly to her hilt or holster ).  This mannerism makes complete and total sense considering shes a trained kick boxer.
G - Gardening is her absolute favorite stress reliever and you can pry it from her cold dead hands. Just bury your problems in the dirt my dude.
H - Her curly ginger hair is certainly one of the first things you notice about her and she takes very good care of it; a wash every two days, plenty of oils, vinegar once a week for dandruff. Her curl type is 3a.
I - Red Jessica is a closeted artist and frequently engages in illustration, and while this mostly comes in handy for taking illustrative botanical notes, her other favorite subject is the human figure. Specifically, the human figure of people she finds attractive or has a crush on.  And if you ask she’d be happy to try and draw you! Though she isn’t what you would call amazing she is somewhat talented- with her drawings having very technical, anatomical, and minimalist influences. She also like to sketch pastoral scenes when out in her fields.
J - Jessica was a name her father picked out, naming her after his first love.
K - She remembers her first kill. At 13 she was involved in a skirmish and lunged at a man out from under a table with a rapier. She remembers the exact look on his face, and recalls it with pride. First kill is a right of passage to pirates.
L - Jessica’s love language is all over the place, but can be narrowed down to gifts, words, and quality time. Arrogant suitors, take note because Jess will literally never shut up about you; she will brag about you, remind you of your achievements, praise you for your talents, be proud of you, will show you off, insist to EVERYBODY that you’re the best, and in some cases, spoil you.  This goes for friends too, of course but this all goes especially for whoever she has a crush on or is courting her. She JUST!! LOVES STROKING PEOPLE’S EGOS!! Speaking of spoiling, she’s a total gift giver.  No reason or occasion needed whatsoever; she is the QUEEN of  “ I was thinking of you so I got you a little something.”
M - Jessica is really really weird when it comes to materialism.  At a first glance, shes as avaricious as they come. She hoards beauty in the form of an art collection that graces her fine chateau’s halls and eminence gardens of gorgeous flowers.  She is a little crazy about treasure too, never missing an opportunity to treasure hunt, and has been known to loan-shark a time or two.  But in actuality, as made apparent through getting to know her, she isn’t really greedy or possessive at all.  Yes she loves pretty things and yes she is great at making money but believe me when I say that she is in the treasure hunt for the hunt more so than for the treasure.  Were she somehow to loose it all, money, island, treasure, everything, she’d be more concerned that whoever took her priceless art won’t take care of it.  In the best laid plans of mice and men, Jess is totally a mouse.  She’s lived the majority of her life owning nothing but the clothes she had on so, she’d just cut her losses and start over… come to think of it being wealthy is a bit boring…
N - Jessica has never been to Neverland. In my canon, only one pirate ( Hook ) was brave enough to ever set foot on that cursed island. Red Jessica, like the rest of the neverpirates, are too afraid. Most heard tales of an unbeatable foe and that the island itself is watching you, and that’s enough to keep Jessica away.
O - Oranges are her all time favorite food. She’ll eat anything with orange in it. Second favorite is crab or lobster. Third is pineapple chili sauce.
P - Her Myers-Briggs personality type is ESTP- a, the Entrepreneur.
Q - Jessica was Dread Pirate Grace O’Malley’s quartermaster. There are 9 Dread Pirates in the Neversea, each one being a legendary pirate of old, and they have the power to grant only the most talented pirates among them recognized captainship.
R - Red Jessica is is short for Red Handed Jessica for no reason other than I am Peter Pan ( 2003 ) trash.
S - Red Jessica’s crew is a sisterhood of sorts. While she is authoritarian and a captain to be feared, Jessica is friends with everybody in her crew and trusts them with her life. Her ship, The Rose, is practically a floating sorority; complete with weird traditions, gossip, gag rivalries, inside jokes, hazing, and the occasional prank. She even aids in getting them dates ( pro wingman right here ) and babysits some of their kids. Granted, they haven’t done much sailing or piracy in some time. But they all live comfortable lives on Crimson Isle, and they’ll be ready to sail should the need arise.
T - Jessica tends to trust people a tad too quickly and “give too much away” so to speak. It’s gotten her into trouble and even gotten her heart broken a time or two; but for some reason she never learns. She’d like to think she’s great at keeping secrets and to a degree, she is… but I wouldn’t trust her with any of mine- that I will say.
U - Oppenheimer, a pirate in the crew of the Flying Frigate ( in the movie the Pirate Fairy ) is her uncle.
V - Jess finds that she spends most of her days in her vineyard. She’s perfected the growing of grapes and timely shipments of wine, but now shes tinkering with how different aspects of growth effect flavor.
W - Jessica, whether she’s aware or not, is capable of being attracted to women. But she’s never really had any female partners. She’s not homophobic and wasn’t raised in an environment that was homophobic ( pirates pretty much love and sleep with whoever they want to ) it’s just ...never occurred to her to date women. Most of the reasons as to why are subconscious maternal issues but in short, Jess already has difficulty separating different kinds of love. Friendship and romantic love kinda... feel the same. She really only knows how to love one way and she can never tell if a woman is being friendly or flirty, much less if SHE’S being friendly or flirty. For this reason I’ve always labeled her as a questioning bisexual or a heteroflexible...
X - Her most recent botanical experiments revolve around xenogamy, also known as cross pollination. And just to flex, she’s also a huge xenophile for both Spanish and Chinese culture.
Y - Yellow is her second favorite color after red. Pink is her third and emerald green is her forth.
Z - In Jake and the Neverland Pirates, we see a type of rose called a Zebra Rose. While no such flower exists in actuality, I’d like to believe this is a result of some of Jess’s experiments - the medicinal purpose being to combat itching and irritation.

Headcanons about Arthur and Jack in my fevered haze:
- Arthur likes to travel when he’s not working, usually domestically. Likes getting to know the average common folk. Something about just… being around the daily lives of regular people makes him happy. He likes to volunteer in the greater London area, answers requests online to help people move to a new flat or donates money to rebuild old buildings like churches.
- Jack sponsors drag shows and local theater in the London and surrounding areas. Usually he just acts as a shadowy patron and source of funding, as well as the man with connections who can help join people to networks of their own. He does this for local arts programs too, especially in poorer areas. A city, a country, a kingdom, should allow and inspire its people to self-express themselves, to dream. At least, that’s what he hopes to support.
- Jack would say he was never a good man by nature, and that any decency in him was just Arthur’s soft heart having rubbed off on him over the centuries.
- Arthur was a neurotic, depressed, drug addicted mess after WW2. After the King’s death. He tried to climb out of it, to his credit, but recovery and improvement aren’t linear processes and relapse was a common theme of Arthur’s life for a long time.
- Jack likes pigeons, thinks they’re funny little fellows. He tries to make time to sit in a bench in Hyde Park to feed them seeds once a week.
- Jack wears gloves, almost always. He’s done so for centuries. Being a city and suffering OCD is not an easy task. He does his best to manage, though.
- Jack is unfailingly loyal to Arthur, sometimes to his own detriment. Arthur’s restless, wild nature is sometimes at odds with London’s need for control, order, categorization. It’s not that Jack himself is controlling of Arthur—he gave up on that effort before 900 AD— it’s more that Arthur’s shenanigans have gotten Jack into trouble with the powers that be.
- Jack loves Arthur, though. Arthur inspires him to be better, to love and be more spontaneous and to find delight in living things. Jack is a dour and dolorous man, a man of shadows and stone and death. Arthur reminds him of the before and after of such things, of the joy of good company, laughter, and love. Perhaps it isn’t simply Arthur himself, but also Jack’s capacity for stubborn hope and endurance, that have helped him through the years.

Idk why but I need to hear Blanky's thoughts on cabbage
He thinks it's serviceable if you can get your hands on it fresh, and he wouldn't turn down a batch of sauerkraut as long as bread, beer, and sausage were also present.
he's spent so much of his life at sea, he'll go for most fresh veg if he can get it tbh!!

When the Queen died, immediately following her funeral, Arthur resigned permanently from his position in the Foreign Commonwealth Office. He took his things, went home, got on a boat, and sailed down to Morocco.
(He was only able to get away with this thanks to @bertievi's George VI.)
Arthur, in 2022 and beyond, is permanently retired. He spends his days sailing and promoting charity events and fundraisers, as well as doing volunteer and community work around the UK. He also likes to take his boat sailing, spends time gardening, and playing guitar in pubs around Kingston.

Arthur’s birthday was yesterday (April 23rd)
It’s not his actual birthday; he doesn’t even remember when he was born specifically. But in the past 300 years someone probably pestered him for official records and he threw out St. George’s Day. He’s regretted it ever since.

I fully understand it would probably be extremely unrealistic for Arthur, with the appearance of a young lad of 16-17, to reasonably find a crew to privateer and pirate at any given time
but that actually makes me laugh at the thought of it being similar to a “Dread Pirate Roberts”-esque situation where The Captain is actually his first mate and when people show up they assume this 6′4″ brick shithouse is the captain but no, it’s this golden haired and very feral Englishman with fiery green eyes and the devil’s luck
the mate’s name is also something like “Tiny” or “Little Joe” and he is an Absolute Unit who could crush your skull like bird’s egg between thighs, but he chills with the Captain because the Captain saved his mother from the plague when Joseph thought all hope was lost, and he’s seen the way this ‘kid’ is at sea and listen, like, you don’t just get over someone saving your Mum from death’s door and seeing her smile again, and Joe doesn’t care if it was some kind of witchery, it was a miracle in his eyes and he will literally pick his teeth with your bones if you aren’t chill with the Captain, he takes care of his people, do you understand?

sometimes it strikes me how terrifying and slightly eldritch demigods the reps are
like, they die and they just reform or respawn and come back. like fucking daisies, but made of flesh and bone. bone daisies.
also casual reminder that it IS canon (according to Himaruya himself) that reps tend to just keep pets and not like, constantly cohabitate with humans because after 15-20 years the human(s) will slowly stop aging and lose their sense of time, therefore causing inevitable madness.
that’s fucked up. y’all. that’s fucked. up.

One headcanon before bed: Following Nelson’s death, Arthur was inconsolable.
He had to be carried away from the hall where Nelson lay in state because he refused to leave his friend’s side otherwise.
For the rest of her life, Arthur always made sure Horatia had means and was acknowledged as Nelson’s daughter.
From his appointment in the 19th century until his retirement from the Foreign Commonwealth Office in 2022, Arthur will have a portrait of Nelson on his office wall.

Goodsir's idea of a perfect date por favor? 🥺
Tumblr media
"'A perfect date'... Ah, well, it's... a little embarrassing, but... A light lunch, followed by a walk through a park promenade, and then perhaps a long conversation over a refreshing cup of tea. All on a warm afternoon, of course."

In the Terror!verse, Arthur (England) wants to use the expedition as a sort of “last hurrah” and personally requested to Sir John if he could go with them as a Lieutenant. At that point he had not officially retired from the Royal Navy, but he also hadn’t really been active since the 1820s, so only the Admiralty and the older officers knew him and what he really was.
I imagine he was sometimes referred to as “Admiral Kirkland, the Old Duke” because of his youthful appearance by men who had known him since they were but young lads themselves.

Headcanon: Arthur + Goodsir's favorite foods
ARTHUR:
We all know he loves tea. He leans into stout, savory black teas.
He'll pretty much drink any booze you put in front of him but he would prefer a full-bodied ale, or a good mulled wine or spiced rum.
He loves... pretty much anything that has a good balance of flavor. Arthur will eat just about anything, and whether that has to do with his seemingly endless appetite (the bastard) or his centuries of roughing it on land/at sea, We Just Don't Know.
However, some of his favorites include: Meat+starch dishes (shepherd's pie, fish and chips), loves a good pudding, absolutely wild about custards and creams and preserves--especally blueberries, strawberries, cherries, and citrus jams! He loves hearty, filling meals full of meat (preferably beef or mutton) and well-grown vegetables. He's also prone to snacking on shortbread biscuits and carrots.
Finally, he has an absolutely voracious sweet tooth. Preserves, pastries, confections, anything with honey... get in his MOUTH, please.
GOODSIR:
Our boy's favorite foods are lighter fare than Arthur. He's the guy that orders a large salad and tucks into it with GLEE. However, some more era-appropriate dishes that he likes would be things like... vegetable and lentil/grain soup, honeyed porridge, bread and soft boiled eggs, fresh fruits of all kinds. And he'll never say no to childhood staples like meat pies and fresh caught fish.
He does like sweets, but he'd rather go for a nice savory pudding for dessert and enjoy a bit of wine.

Your immortal Goodsir, what does he end up doing as the years go by? Does he still practice as a doctor? Or has he shifted onto something else?
Tumblr media
After a suspiciously speedy recovery, Harry continues his education in Edinburgh. Eventually he moves to start a practice in London, though he is somewhat on autopilot for a number of years and wakes up one day to find that he has begun being a source of bodies for bodysnatchers, particularly intent on dispatching of the Hickeys of the city while also doing a great deal of work trying to help the ailing poor.
He cuts that shit out when he has a near(?) death experience and heads back up to Scotland, at which time he knows he should be ageing and isn't. It's been nearly 10 years by then, he should be nearing the age of 50, but he doesn't look a day over 30.
After that, he tries to travel around Scotland, tries to reconnect with friends and family who he has avoided for 5-10 years... but he just feels listless and empty and ends up landing in Edinburgh again. It's at this point he sees the gentrification of the city and this ignites a new fire in him--the fire of spite. He opens a practice in the city and begins doing all he can for the commonfolk, the homeless, the workers; society's vulnerable and abandoned.
In the AU tied with the reps, he actually wholly dedicates himself to this task as Edinburgh changes and modernizes and inadvertently takes on the city's mantle as its immortal representative.
After decades of this--and more efforts to reconnect with his friends--he passes his practice onto capable hands after the turn of the 20th century, where he began to take part in more exploration expeditions, in traveling, in fully immersing himself in the natural world. He would always return to Edinburgh to help look after its residents for a time, before going back to his travels and studies abroad--including (but not limited to) a return to Nunavut, across the United States, into Mexico, then to Africa, and parts beyond.
He doesn't return to active medical practice until the Cold War, but he does keep up with his academic studies and becomes an accomplished, well-traveled naturalist. He of course returns home during WW2 to assist with the war effort at home and support Scotland and the other reps.
I think, by modern day, Harry has settled into his role, and he has tried his best to make peace with the events of the Franklin Expedition and his own disillusionment, bitterness, and burnout. He's written over a dozen books on a variety of topics, and following WW2 was/is outspoken against imperialism and xenophobia. He is... tired, and quiet, and admittedly a little dead inside, but I would like to believe he has become stronger as a person over the decades.
In his spare time, as ever, he likes to read, sketch with watercolors, and hiking/camping. Sometimes experiencing nature, just being with it, is enough.
