a small smile made its way to muffy’s bubblegum pink lips and she laughed softly. “you’re the cutest,” she hummed, making a heart with her own hands and showing it to him. “i can do it too, see? oh, or ---” she drew a heart made of sparkles in the air between then, then she gently blew it toward him, giggling.

leviatha smiled. the first real, genuinely happy smile that had sat upon her lips since she’d come to auradon. as soon as her friend ran into her, she hugged the other tightly. she got very little physical affection from very few people, and she could give such affection to just as few people. so, having even just one more person here who she could give that to meant the world to her. “nana!” she cried, a relief lacing with her words. “nana, you’re here!”

“is that so?” raspberry asked, smiling up at mimi before she burst out in a small fit of giggles. “that may be because i don’t have a straight bone in my body. my lack of straightness if affecting you!” she joked lightly, laughing again.

“huh? no, no, never,” keleos was quick to assure, offering a soft smile to bash. “i mean, it’s your swamp after all, right? i just got here. i was just early, yeah?” she suggested, brushing her fingers through the grass with one hand, keeping her other hand on the lantern at her side.

“what? who said that?!” she exclaimed, a frown adorning her facial features as she looked around, as if looking for whoever had told him that. “you should be here! i’m happy you’re here! why would you say that?! I feel like i haven’t seen you in years!” she slapped her hand against his arm. “didn’t you miss me?!” and with that, she fell against him, absolutely dramatic.

“oh, fam --- i’m down for a roadtrip with ufo and paranormal hotspots as possible!” west smiled, waving his hand at the girl. “i know of a few spooky places, actually ... we can hit those too!” he nodded proudly.

west’s eyes widened at the sight of the mistletoe and he turned invisible for a brief moment, clearly nervous. “i, uh --- it’s just ... just a silly tr-tradition ---” he sputtered out, awkwardly tugging on the sleeves of his sweater. “we can pretend --- we can pretend that it’s not ... like it’s just not there ...”
