Always handwaving a tabletop species for Jack that isn’t explicitly ‘oh he’s kinda monkey’ but for the sake of a bg3 playthrough…. Settling on Half-Elf Jack for the major depression of him potentially outliving his fathers side of his family and being stuck with his mothers. For hating all the tradition and perfectionism but loving all the performances and power of status. And never really fitting in with his ‘peer’ group.
