✨Fic Commissions✨

Due to ongoing and expensive issues with my house that have me looking like that one picture of Ben Affleck smoking (you know the one), I am hesitantly opening fic commissions!

This is my first time doing anything like this, and right now I'm not too sure what the best way to work it is. So for now, if you're interested, simply reach out to me via DM and we can discuss plot, length, time scale and price.

Please be aware that I am one (1) tiny person with a full time job and a life outside of fandom, so I do ask that you're patient with me! Again, we can discuss time scale via DM.

Obviously my main fandom is Les Mis. I'm more comfortable with modern AU, I'm also willing to write canon era (expect to wait a lil bit longer for these while I do research) and other AUs. I will also hesitantly say that I could potentially do commissions for other fandoms that I'm already familiar with, but that depends on the ask. All this comes with the condition that I can and will turn down anything I'm not comfortable writing, and I hope you will respect that.

Any Edwin headcannons??

okayokay stay with me!! So, yk that ova(?) I can't remember- where Ed reacts weirdly to Winry's piercings?? Ik him and Al were worried because she just kept piercing for every pair of earrings they gave her but cmon. that always bugged me cause it felt out of character to me. As much as its not to be taken seriously, I just don't think its very Ed-like. Ed is a punk kid who dresses way different than literally anyone else. He's all about going his own way w whatever he wants to do. I thought it was ridiculous that Edward 'Individualist' Elric would gaf abt her putting some holes in her ears. In fact I think it better suits him to be like "hey, that's kinda badass. Can you do mine?"

I think when Ed saw her ears, he'd ask her to pierce his cause it's wicked lookin. Though I don't know if he'd do his lobes or that would be a little 'girly' in his mind. Definitely could see him w an industrial and some other cartilage ish.

I think Winry would be really excited to do it for him as well. Chatting away while she gets out all the scary supplies as Ed grows a little pale. He would never admit to being nervous of course. He wouldn't really think abt aftercare, just focused on the needle, and would complain at her. (can't remember if Ed is afraid of them in all versions or jus 03). He'd for sure pick the most gaudy gothic jewelry possible, if not make his own. Don't come at me abt military regulations cause if they let him get away w his leather getup and obnoxious coat, he can have piercings.

(after they marry they have matching/complimentary jewelry sets which Ed is SO embarrassed abt but happy)

also I personally dislike when ppl characterize hetero relationships in shows to be 'protector' and 'protected'- to the point where the protector is stepping into the protected's harmless decisions just for the sake of showing their dynamic in a punch-face way.

To be clear I have no issue w that dynamic when it's reasonable!! I think it can be very very cute or important and Edwin has those moments and overall they do it well.
