My Leo and Mikey for FW's good future.

(part 2 of 3 that i promised (oof) like 2 weeks ago. Yeah, it's been chaotic on my end.) (Donnie and Jennika can be found here.) (i'm still working on raph. Maybe by friday)

I'm exhausted do multiple pet shenanigans so I'm posting this instead of waiting. (I'll do asks tomorrow. Tired)

Leo is, like Donnie, 24 by the time they find Raph's bitties. He goes to college part time b/c he has other things he wants to be doing but also is slowly working towards getting into Mystic medical school. As much as Mama wants him to take over the nexus and hotel at some point, he'd really rather become a doctor like Leatherhead.

By now he's mostly gotten past his fear of medical procedures, though he's still not a fan of being treated by anyone except himself. There are a few things that still set him off (Like Bishop's genetics lab) but usually he's pretty good now.

At this point he's running the Battle Nexus's medical wing (not exactly practicing in it b/c he's not legally allowed, but he does run it.) And is in charge of the human side of the Nexus hotel (with use of a cloaking broach.) (Mikey helps but Leo's the face of it now.)

And Mikey! Mikey's 23. He went head first into art and mystics and just didn't look back. The dude has had art shows in both the hidden city and new york (though he never shows up to the nyc ones in person. It makes him a bit of a local cryptid as far as the art community goes lol.)

He's in college for art and has a nice little following online as well. Mostly for original work, but he does post jupiter jim fanart sometimes that is generally well liked. (he used to post Lou Jitsu fanart too, but the fandom was just too horny for his dad for him to be comfortable continuing doing so.)

His mystics are very powerful at this point. Probably more powerful than his apocalypse self was at that age (or ever) due to having proper access to training and food. His primary eyes glow gold almost constantly as a result of his extra mystic use, which he kind of likes since they used to be an amber color before his mutation.

Sjfjskdjsk okokok lesson 69 was so enjoyable (comparable to the prev lessons) but why hasn't the whole season been like this??? It feels like we got to peak into a world where this season was actually... Not necessarily good but tolerable?? Like the characters felt like themselves all of a sudden rather window dressing I'm ??

The whole concept of Satan leaving to the human world after a fight with Lucifer?? Actually addressing the Simeon stuff?? That conversation with Beel?? A+ why haven't we been getting juicy stuff like this?? Why does it feel like we haven't actually spent any time with our characters this season??

RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT my goodness… Like, okay, I’ll accept the filler as a way to show us that Simeon’s powerless through not being able to protect himself or Luke + a way to show us the newbies and some of their personalities but I was just so… Underwhelmed? Idk I wish we got to know them through a different way + the fucking trial wasn’t taking place during a goddamn sports festival. I think the fact that it’s yet another trial that’s basically some lame event helped dampen our excitement for it lol I’m still not over how my mood dropped when I read what the first trial’s supposed to be… Are we being given super kebs trial because it’s MC who’s a human and the government position’s likely a representative/ambassador one instead of whatever the brothers do? Ugh.

I really wish they didn’t rush us getting to know the newbies. And also I feel like that whole filler is a show of what’s to come whenever the devs will try to cram every character into an arc/event lol (except imagine it crammed into 2 pages with everyone having mandatory optional one-on-one scenes)

BUT YES yes gawd mawma Lesson 69!! Not stellar BUT actually had some nice substance to it!! Unfortunately the beginning part with Belphie felt a bit rushed/out of nowhere (so odd when they tell us about stuff going on with the MC that we did not get to experience, like other students making huge fusses over MC? Though I guess I can see it with MC being stuck with 13 + Raph for the last 5 Lessons…)

Really nonnie, when I saw the screenshots of Satan having run off to the human world after the fight with Lucifer + seeing in the Lesson that no one’s heard from him??? Dead then resurrected within the same second.

And YES!! Finally addressing the Simeon stuff!! With him trying to dodge but eventually being cornered!! I wish MC got to have a word in with talking to him because I WISH we got to show concern beyond standing there while Mammon interrogates the guy… The distinction of not being qualified to use his blessing/angel powers is so intriguing and interesting!! The fact that Mammon mentioned all the other things that have been fishy too… (though I wish that it’s not just Mammon who’s been showed to have picked up on things and be concerned about Simeon?)

The conversation with Beel too!! Him being jealous and showing it in that way is so unexpected and interesting… Like as per the Flower of Jealousy Devilgram he can def be aggressive when he’s jealous but just him being like that without any magical flowers influencing him!!

Seriously gosh I really missed being excited for lessons like this!! Granted… It’s because I’m frothing at the blood for the Satan-focused hurt/comfort + this as a writing prompt BUT I’m once again invested in what’s happening and it’s been several lessons since I’ve felt like that. When I went to catch up it turns out I didn’t even really finish Lesson 65 and sped through 66-68 to get to current Lesson >.<

I’m DYING to know what the hell the argument was about. Shaking my fist at the sky because how dare???
