I'M SO SORRY IT TOOK ME THIS LONG TO ANSWER ><'
I think a lot of people have written about the Tsukasa and Mafuyu paralles before, but I'll try to answer you with what I think, which I know overlap with some people too
Well, personally I think the writing for Mafuyu and Tsukasa (in terms of their character motivation) kinda parallels one another--After all they're the only characters to create a SEKAI by themselves. They're also their class leaders because they're active as their class reps too. But if I have to say it, I think "Tsukasa is someone who Mafuyu wished to be" and "Mafuyu is someone who Tsukasa would never be" is what they're going with these two.
They spent their times trying to make others happy--Mafuyu for her mother, and Tsukasa for Saki and his family. Later, the expectations around them increased, making them double down on their efforts to keep everyone happy. The difference is that Tsukasa found his meaning and purpose while Mafuyu didn't.
It was mostly because their support system is also different--Although we can infer that the Tenma parents' focus is Saki, we can also infer from 4-koma and stories that the Tenmas is a close-knit family. Beside the parents having expected Tsukasa to be 'a good big brother' that can be relied on, they didn't really pressure him in any other aspects in life. Meanwhile, Mafuyu's mom has so many expectations for Mafuyu as 'a good girl'. Mafuyu should be number 1 in her class, she should be diligent, she should be a doctor, etc.. Mafuyu's mom wants to have control of Mafuyu's life unlike the Tenma parents.
By having a choice on how to live his life, Tsukasa was able to choose to make others happy by his own terms. On the contrary, Mafuyu doesn't have any choice. The reason why she has her 'good girl mode' is because she knows that her mom (and probably others) would reject her real self. Her 'good girl mode' is the ideal 'Asahina Mafuyu' that everyone wanted her to be. It may be her choice to keep that mask at first, but now she's lost because she couldn't find her purpose and meaning in trying to make her mom happy. Her purpose was set by her mom and nothing else.
So, by what I said that "Tsukasa is someone that Mafuyu wished to be" is that Tsukasa was someone who was able to do what Mafuyu couldn't do--happy in doing what others expected him to. If Mafuyu could be satisfied just by making her mom and others happy, she wouldn't become the way she is right now. She'd probably be happy doing her best in school and aiming to be a doctor. Just like Tsukasa aiming to be a show star (and created his personality around that goal) because it makes Saki and his parents happy, Mafuyu probably would aim to be a doctor because it makes her mom happy so she could be happy too.
And as "Mafuyu is someone who Tsukasa would never be" is because Mafuyu wanted to break away from others' expectations. Tsukasa is a performer through and through--while he is indeed a loud narcistic weirdo, he knows how to give his audiences what they want. It's easy to imagine that his personality is created from his observation of what entertained Saki and his parents the most. He wants to be happy, and the way he does that is to make others happy. Tsukasa worked very hard to be who he is now--heck, there's underlying tones that he thinks that he's still not good enough to make others smile--so Mafuyu who couldn't find any satisfaction in others' expectations might be out of his understanding.
Mafuyu might see Tsukasa finding his goal to make others smile as being satisfied to fulfill others' expectations, and she's not wrong. She might think that she'd probably be happier if she was just like Tsukasa, but she's wrong. Mafuyu's mom is the one that's controlling her strings, while Tsukasa is the one that's controlling his. IMO Tsukasa's way of life isn't ideal either (because dedicating his life to make others smile isn't really a good way to live, but to each their own) but at least he chose it with his own terms and not because others pushed him to. Tsukasa also knows that happiness differs from one person to another, and as he learns from Toya's experience, having unwanted expectations would be damaging. So, I'm sure he would push her back to find her own happiness just like he did with Toya. I wanted Tsukasa to question himself too, but as he's the type to do than think, it's kinda fifty-fifty on his part really.
Oh, and speaking of SEKAI, a lot of people have pointed it out already, but it's neat how Tsukasa has the most complex SEKAI (which is still expanding), complete with living plushies and trees with distinct personalities while Mafuyu's is a seemingly endless, not-so-empty-now world. Just goes to show while Mafuyu is still searching for herself, while Tsukasa was made up of all the things in the past and in his imagination. Kinda interesting when you consider the other three SEKAI are kinda a mix of the creators' past, present, and might be the future (for MMJ and VBS).
Also, I think I've also said something about how Mafuyu is someone who wants to get out of hell to search for light, while Tsukasa is someone who tries to create light in the depths of hell. Mafuyu doesn't want to feel miserable, but Tsukasa is okay with feeling miserable because as long as others are happy he'll be happy too. You know, like the dog in the fire meme? Mafuyu would be saying 'I'm fine' with a dark face as everything around her burned while Tsukasa would be saying 'I'm fine' while dancing on the burned table. Probably also with Emu with Rui filming them and Nene face-palming in the background. And in that scenario, Kanade is trying to drag Mafuyu away while Mizuki is covering Kanade and Mafuyu by being the meat shield. Ena would be the only one to put the fire away from Mizuki so Niigo is a mess lol.
Tl;dr: Mafuyu and Tsukasa might understand themselves and each other better by reflecting on each other.
