it's one thirty but one of my favorite things about liz is how she tries to strip her background so much. like the fact she's a mountain girl impersonating a city girl; or the yorkshire half blood horse trainer acting like a prim & proper slytherin. like she has trained her whole life to be someone else that she's losing connection with said backdrop. like i can't fool anyone i'm not from hicksville, but liz fools the world of this. and it's so sad yet so intriguing at the same time.

want to know a sign that liz cares for you? she’ll go out of her way to research a point of interest (re: hobbies, subjects, entertainment) that the other person enjoys in their spare time. she won’t be like ‘hey what’s something you like so i can look into it?’ no. it’s more subtle, like observing different flowers each week at the apartment or the type of books somebody has on their self (or stars on the ceiling) or the focus on their career (music in bars) or just what the person talks about on their free will. so, then liz will use her time to research that topic, from more about music or wrestling or whatever. while, yeah, it may heighten the liz knows everything persona she loves to shine, it’s her attempt to START CONVERSATIONS without too much emotional depth. also great when she does the next step with her elaborates birthday presents.

so like, i watch a ted talk & it mentions different types of givers & takers in this world. like the four were agreeable giver, agreeable taker (those sly nice ones that aint nice), the disagreeable taker, & then then the disagreeable giver, who aree the grumps that do the good deeds in the background to not get taken advantage of but they been hurt. okay but, for that glasses kink. it has to be somebody who doesn’t wear glasses that often. while, yes, she will probably go up to someone wearing glasses first, that whole reveal of someone shes gaining attraction to wears glasses just makes them a hundred times sexier. THEN, if that said person doesn’t wear their glasses for awhile & liz is on the verge of feeling the need for the deed, she’ll beg said person to put of their glasses. or just put them on without prior knowledge.

so caitlyn teaches elementary school kids at a christian school while alfred coaches baseball for like middle school aged kids alongside his duties as a police officer. so, like, their lives revolve around kids, especially since like once they're serious, caitlyn helps with alfred's team and like always makes sure the kids are getting food & doing well in school and, heck, tutors them. like, a date for them is taking these kids to McDonalds & watch them goof around and just that's so rewarding & fun for those two. though sometimes it is also heartbreaking when they know what the kids go through & like they are on the verge of adopting some of these kids if they could.
which also means that sometimes, when a kid doesn't want to be at their home, they may like chill with coach al & caitlyn. or just caitlyn has to go to the apartment with these kids following her around. so like even liz suddenly sees kids running around the apartment. so you'll think she'll throw a fit but yet... she embraces it because she registers what kind of life some of these kids have or like just knows cait & al are being good people. so like the kids actually enjoy the grumpy liz around & liz actually helps sponsor the baseball team al has (alongside some of al's nypd buds).
but not only that, she allows caitlyn to discuss the good & bad stories when these things go on because, besides alfred, no one else in their friend group really puts the time. and while liz may not be the best emotional support, she'll either just sit there quietly or try and give advice or recommendations and even like search stuff herself to help. she's indirect about it but yeah. Like honesty this helps influence liz to become a foster parent.

so after some reflection, liz has developed more into an INTJ instead of an istj. like, wit & confidence & independence & analytical & determination while being arrogant & judgmental & too analytical & skeptic & not doing well with romantic relations is totally liz. because liz really isn’t that calm to be an istj (like she ain’t gonna throw a temper, but she’s gonna glare & tell a person to leave while completing a hard task). and, given on the circumstances, liz has pretty grey morals that an istj isn’t likely to commit & liz doesn’t follow by the book as much as she did in her earlier reincarnations.
oh, and liz is definitely assertive, so intj-a. because she’ll use her emotions as tools at a given task, but prefers not to display them. like she’s still using her brain over her heart. then why she often breaks down when her emotions have to be in the forefront because that’s way out of her logical comfort zone & she hasn’t practice much how to deal with an emotional situation when she avoids them at all cost. but yeah, liz has a super hard time managing emotions.
and she always gets bored of social interactions is she feels the person is lesser than her & doesn’t have time for small talk. which is why it’s hard to even become a friend. like the person has to either be more stubborn than her, or prove their intellect or creativity. which makes sense why liz often surrounds herself with musically talented folk because they are smart in a said creative field. then she goes full on with the friendship, though still not being an emotional support; just more of a helpful logic one, like with helping with resumes or computer stuff.
while not really being shown here, liz IS at her best at work or researching. while networking did result in her current position, she had to prove with her master thesis & ability for the networking to work instead of just smooth lies or politics. she wasn’t summa cum laude for nothin. so yeah, if someone gets in not anything but ability (re: only relying on social prowess), then she already dislikes the person. and she’s going to make sure everyone knows how incompetent the said person is base on correcting every single mistake the person makes. but she’s still one of the hardest working around the un’s stats division. though she does have to communicate with people, the work itself is pretty individual; she finds problems in other’s codes. this can annoy her when the other person knows nothing about computers because they should know ctrl v & p at least. she can also understand the actual stats that everyone is doing, which is a bigger bonus alongside just enjoying solving big network issues. however, when she worked at best buy... well... that was a nightmare.
in conclusion, liz is an infj-a now.

since liz cannot have kids (explanation will be in a future post / bio), i can see her either fostering an older kid. like when cait & al's kids are toddlers and liz is finally beginning to grow up in terms of pride. even tho she's been sponsoring kid stuff for a good while at this point, she'll just become more involved. like in her mid 30s she'll foster. then she'll just make sure that kid is super involved in a couple things that kid likes (sports, arts, etc) alongside getting needed education & exercise. only work & that kid will matter in her life. she will also stop drinking as much bc of influence though she will need medicial help with that. still a wine soccer mom.
just... yeah. and i see liz fostering & changing to her best self because of that.
