between atrus and gehn you can tell atrus is the better dad because he killed 2 sons while gehn couldnt even kill one
#im still working through the myst series#i plan on beating riven tonight#proud of myself#i only resorted to looking at a guide once#and just for the marble puzzle#and it turns out my game straight up lied about the colors to me#you never need yellow yet i couldve sworn plateau island was yellow#and i went back and forth like a million times to recheck#(and say hi to the whark again but mostly for important puzzle solving)#(me and the whark are friends c: )#i know atrus didnt technically kill his sons#i think achenar at least is in a later game iirc?#but its funnier this way#sorry no readmore i forgot how to do them in mobile#also this game is from the 90s#you were either gonna play it by now or you arent
