Raven is the daughter of the Evil Queen, the Greatest-Evil-Ever-After, and the Good King. She takes after her father, far more than her mother. Raven pioneered the current Rebel movement on her Legacy Day when she ripped her page out of the Storybook of Legends.

Raven's Tattoos

Raven first found the tattoo parlour in Bookend the weekend after Legacy Day. Almost as a joke, she went in and had the word ‘Rebel’ placed on her lower right leg (she had no trouble with being underage as there were really no rules about tattoos in any kingdom). She found that she liked having a tattoo and she decided to get another: a simple starburst over the ‘l’ in her original tattoo.

Then she found the time to have two black flowers opposite the others, and another just under her knee. Soon, she went for a burst of colour on the front of her left leg in the form of a red rose. Above the rose came pink butterflies and starbursts. And on the back of her lower left leg she had a twisting black design to cover the skin.

Within a month, she added two large butterflies to her inner and outer right thigh. Her outer left thigh soon had its own butterfly over a twisted design of brown and black. On her inner left thigh a matching flower. In the same theme, she had a large butterfly placed on her back, covering the majority of it along with part of her sides.

Hidden by her hair just under her hairline, she got three stars, a black and red heart, and a small starburst. Behind her right ear she got yet another starburst and a red heart behind her left. By Thronecoming her stomach was adorned with a twisted black group of lines and a large star with swirled background covered her chest. After winning Thronecoming Queen, she got a starburst on the back of each palm. By Spring Fairest, she had a large rose blossom on her upper back and a black heart on the back of her neck.

Her next tattoo was a dark green vine design covering her upper left arm almost entirely. Just before True Hearts’ Day, the next tattoo, a set of black lines in the same design as the ones on her stomach had healed completely on her upper right arm. While she kept her tattoos concealed during school hours, on the weekends and for parties she made sure to show as many of them off as she could manage.

In the midst of getting all of her tattoos, Raven also had several new piercings done. These include a second hole and a third towards the top of in her left ear, a hole in the left side of her nose, and a simple hole at the top of her right ear.
