Valentine was still clutching at their own shirt, trying to relax their pattering heart at the jumpscare the Bat provided. Sharp glass needles for hands clinked! clanked! as they 'subtly' sidestepped to the left, attempting to cover their own chemistry mess behind them. Composure was quick, but for the detective who'd been there the whole time, it most likely wasn't quick enough. Black eyes stared the Bat, tilting their head in somewhat of a respectful nod.
