Her response threw him off guard for a moment. He said it more in a playful tone, though he had to admit to himself the though of kissing Aayla had crossed his mind a few times, actually. She had always been a good friend of his, they shared similar interests and she was also very attractive. He may have developed a crush on her that he didn’t think much about till now.

He wasn’t expecting her to feel the same way, even if he was told by his fellow Jedi and even outside the Order that he was an attractive man. His cheeks took on a red color as she grinned at him and he arched an eyebrow at her. “Really?”

His hand rested on her waist, pulling her gently towards him, his heart beating loud in his chest. He had kissed before, but now he seemed a bit more nervous. It wouldn’t stop him, however. He moistened his lips before gently placing them over hers.
