"You've got me!" From Rusty to whirlwind ( @the-rustbucket )

To say that the Leviathan had been caught off guard by the sweet steam engine would be an understatement. Whirlwinds' face seemed hopeful but filled with a sort of anxiety about it, rolling forward and backward slightly while they thought for a second. He couldn't believe that anyone would day that they would be there for support of him getting over this fear.

"Are- are you sure? I mean- I don't want to embarrass you or anything..." Their voice hesitantly murmured out, looking down to the ground as they spoke, not wishing for Rusty to get even more bullied than he already does.

"I mean- what if someone sees you helping me out and I fail again? Wouldn't that like... make you picked on more?" They finally looked up to Rusty again, while they were clearly greatful for his hospitality, they also worried that someone might come along and see them.

Poor Whirly. You sound like you need a hug.

"Oh! It's fine- Really, it is! It's silly that I'm still scared of racing again.." Whirl sheepishly smiled to the anon, before opening their arms to them.

"But hugs are appreciated, I'm really warm! I know it's starting to get colder so- I'm like a personal heater!" They tried to change the subject with a smile, the small crackling of the coals in their chest becoming apparent if the person took up the offer. Being a comforting warm embrace to the slowly chilling world around them.

Whirlwind, what happened on the track???

The Leviathan steam engine visibly tensed up a bit at the question, taking a moment to shift back and forth on their wheels before finally speaking.

"Well- uh. I used to be quite the racer- heck. Gave Greasy a run for his money! But...one day I guess I was going too fast- and I...derailed on the curve right before the bridge." He avoided eye contact, looking down to the ground, taking a breath and with that blowing a puff of smoke out of their nose.

"From how fast I was going- it flung me off the bridge." They gestured to the scratches, scarring that had been left from the incident.

"I wanna race again...but I'm just...scared."

The three stood there as the anon asked their question, Whirl being the first to pipe up with an answer.

"Yeah, I color it every once and awhile to keep it fresh! Typically I keep the same style though- don't like too much change."

"Well I think mine is quite obvious." Electra quipped with crossed arms. "I refresh my colors as often as I can- have to keep myself looking good for when I when I win."

"Never done a full color- only streaks. I wouldn't want to ruin this gorgeous hair." Greaseball's hand ran through his hair, slicking it back before his eye went off to a reflective surface, flexing a bit and admiring himself.
