not really. usually if i like one song, i check out the band’s other stuff and i usually like it as well.

3: what is a very unpopular band you’re into? tell a little bit about them

oh boy...are you ready for a whole ass essay? good.

obviously, vain. not a lot of people know them and i think that’s a crying shame. they’re fucking GREAT. so, their singer is davy vain (yes i love him a lot) and i’ve never heard anyone else sing like he does. his voice is so sensual and unique. their bassist is ashley mitchell, who has the best blonde streaks in rock n’ roll. (sorry, marc ferrari.) they have two guitarists who switch back and forth from lead and rhythm, but davy sometimes plays too. danny west is one of the guitarists, and he also plays keyboards on occasion and davy takes his guitar parts. their other guitarist used to be called jamie scott, but she’s come out as transgender and now she goes by dylana nova scott. she is so fucking cool and i LOVE her. wherever she buys her clothes, i need to shop there. vain has had a few different drummers over time--tom rickard played on no respect and all those strangers, but was replaced by shawn rorie in 1992. steven adler also played with them for a while--he’s credited on their 1994 album, move on it. tom rickard rejoined the band in 2009. as far as i know, davy, ashley, and dylana have been pretty constant. danny left for a while but i think he’s back now. anyways. they have seven studio albums: no respect (1989), all those strangers (1991), move on it (1994), on the line (2005), fade (2009), enough rope (2011), and rolling with the punches (2017). i recommend all of them. their most well known songs are probably beat the bullet and who’s watching you--both are amazing, but literally everything they’ve ever put out is pure gold. their live show was pure SEX back in the 80s--i kid you not, i can’t believe they got away with some of that shit. not that i’m complaining, but still. damn. anyways, they’re my favorite band right now and you should ALL check them out.
