According to Mapo-gu on the 27th, the research service related to the designation of the Hongdae Special Tourist Zone will be completed on the 8th of next month. In July, Mapo-gu conducted a research service to build a tourism infrastructure from 2017 to 2020 in preparation for the era of 10 million foreign tourists visiting Mapo in 2020. The main goal of the research service is to build a tourist information center and convenient facilities, and to develop tourist courses. However, since the research service period is three months, it is expected that some content will be supplemented after the final result report is released.
On October 4th, Mapo-gu completed the interim report of the research service through an advisory meeting with the research service provider.
