DaeMoNim’s real name was Soon-ae Hong. (She was the mother of Hak Ja Han). Soon-ae Hong was jailed for manslaughter in 1957. All the early Korean members know that, and so have never respected her. Members all over the world have been bowing to Soon-ae Hong without knowing what kind of person she was.

alright so i've never done one of these end of the year post things but i do just want to take the time to get sappy here for a second. first of all, thank you so much to everybody who has supported, read, liked, commented, or reblogged any of my fics. it truly means a lot that my 2am thoughts are appreciated by many people. to be honest, i started this blog with the intention of just posting my oneshots for shits and giggles and never would have i thought that i would have almost 300 followers on this account.

apart from writing though, this year has been a little hectic for me. i started my senior in high school, trying my best to get into college (and possibly play a college sport), got a job and my license (after failing the first time). it's a little bittersweet to realize how much i've grown as a person this year and i cannot wait to see what's going to happen next year.

A Simplified Guide To LOOΠΔ: Kpop's Most Anticipated Girl Group Of 2018

New and old Kpop fans alike can agree that learning a new group can be very daunting. From duos to a fully fledged, 10+ member group, things can get a little confusing during the learning process. LOONA (stylized as LOOΠΔ) is an upcoming, twelve-member girl group that every Kpop fan should get to know! However, even their "pre-debut" process has been quite extensive. With almost 30 unique music videos, three pre-debut units, various promotions, modeling for the brand "Innisfree," and 360+ "LOONA TV" episodes, it's no doubt that even just looking at the group's YouTube channel can be overwhelming. So, where does one start? I am here to give a simplified walk-through of the group's members, their back story, their unique (and detailed) debut concept, and the highlights of what to check out! Follow my lead and you'll soon become a LOONA expert— even before they officially debut! THE HISTORY Way back in October of 2016, Blockberry Entertainment, a subsidiary of Polaris Entertainment, initiated themselves as an official company for the first time to the public through a post on Naver. At the same time, they revealed their plans for a new kind of girl group and announced the 18-month long pre-debut project that would lead to their debut sometime in 2018. LOONA is also known as 이달의 소녀 (Idalui Sonyeo) which translates to "Girl of the Month." The name was tied to the concept that each of the twelve members would be revealed individually each month and release their own solo music and MV. All of the pre-debut songs released by LOONA would be streamed and sold as digital tracks. After a few members released their solo tracks, those same members would then come together to perform as a sub-unit. Each sub-unit promoted their title tracks on music programs for a period of time, and their songs were sold on physical mini-albums as well, some of them with various versions. After the sub-units were done promoting, the process would begin again with more members being introduced individually. Around the same time as gaining the copyright for the name 이달의 소녀 , BlockBerry also trademarked 이달의 소년 (Idalui Sonyeon) which translates to "Boy of the Month." This has given fans the feeling there will be an upcoming male group from BlockBerry Creative who will debut with a similar pre-debut concept. The group's icon is actually made of the first Hangul letter in each syllable of their Korean name. When rearranged, it creates the name LOOΠΔ in Romanized letters which acts as the group's international name.

THE CONCEPT The members of LOONA have been active throughout their own series of videos called "LOONA TV." There has been over 360 of them since the first one that was posted back on October 12th, 2016. They range anywhere from 20 seconds long to a minute long (with a few of them being 10-12 minutes long). They usually show the girls messing around, buying gifts for each other, or preparing for their music videos, photoshoots, and pre-debut promotional events. After delving deeper into research on the group, I came to notice unique patterns and themes. These include "mirrored" tracks, connected members, and something called the LOONA-verse! The mirrored tracks would include songs released (usually duets or a solo member featuring on another member) in-between the "official" releases. They would include: two of the same songs with slightly altered lyrics, two songs with the exact same theme, one song acting as an intro for the second song, or both songs having the same melody and lyrics but being an entirely different genre. Some of these include: Haseul & Yeojin's "My Melody" vs. Heejin & Hyunjin's "My Sunday" ViVi's "Everyday I Love You" vs. "Everyday I Need You" LOONA 1/3's "Love and Live" vs "Love and Evil" Kim Lip's "Eclipse" (Produced by Cha Cha Malone) vs. "Twilight" (Produced by Daniel Obi Klein) ODD EYE CIRCLE's "Girl Front" and "ODD Front" ODD EYE CIRCLE's "ODD" and "ADD" On top of those tracks, quite a few acoustic versions of title songs were released alongside the original. Many instances of play-on-word connections like Go WON's "ONE and only" and Choerry's "Love CHERRY motion" are seen. Chuu's debut song "Heart Attack" became a big deal for its music video with light, romantic, homosexual themes. Chuu is seen having a little crush on her fellow member Yves, whose own song lyrics, interestingly enough, mirror the lyrics of "Heart Attack." According to fans, "Heart Attack" was heard being played at various pride celebrations around South Korea. The LOONA-verse was first mentioned with the release of the second sub-unit's (ODD EYE CIRCLE) music video for "Girl Front" on September 20th, 2017. The description of the video explains the creation of the first subgroup, LOONA 1/3. It mentions that the "3" in the name consists of HeeJin, Hyunjin, and Haseul. Yeojin joined to add "/" and ViVi joined to add their "1," creating LOONA 1/3. ODD EYE CIRCLE, consisting of Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry, has a darker concept video with hard-hitting, techno-influenced tracks. Within the music videos for "Eclipse," "Singing in The Rain," and "Love Cherry Motion," various moons are seen, as well as a unique color pattern that fans began to connect to each member. The word ODD was to represent the unique style of these three, as well as the fact that ODD looks like three moons stacked upon each other. The teasers for the sub-unit also revolved around moons, and eclipses were seen within each member's eyes. Finally, the third and final pre-debut sub-unit, LOONA yyxy, made their debut through "love4eva," released on May 30th, 2018. It was filmed in Budapest and featured Grimes, a famous Canadian songwriter and music producer. The description of this video seems to be pulling the band together finally, showing how each of the solo members have joined together to make a sub-unit, and now the sub-units will combine to "create a world." While LOONA 1/3 sang about the excitement of first love, LOONA ODD EYE CIRCLE followed up with a sense of courage to go after that love. LOONA yyxy rounded it out beautifully within their album's tracks by singing of how sweet and luminous their fulfilled love is. However, yyxy member's solo tracks (noteably "Egoist" and "new"), interestingly enough, showed themes of self-worth and staying away from negative relationships. Through various video descriptions and hints dropped within each MV, fans have found a unique thread that connects some members to others. It seems as though the LOONA-verse consists of three alternate universes of some sort that will collide and complete the beginning of LOONA's story for their official debut. THE BOTTOM LINE On top of pre-debut promotions with LOONA, members Hyunjin, Heejin and Haseul were contestants on the YG Entertainment's competition program "MIXNINE". Heejin made it all the way into the top 9 finalists until changes were made by the company and the group did not end up debuting as planned. Recently as well, within another video description, it was revealed that a ballad album, entitled LOONA Ballad, was in the works and is planned to be released in 2019. There is no doubt how much great music there is to explore through LOONA, even before their official debut! A huge variety of music styles are present, from broadway-exque showtunes to jazzy electro-swing and provocative pop melodies with EDM chorus beats. Still feeling overwhelmed, however No worries! Many of the official music videos have been translated and subtitled in English. The song "LOONATIC" by ODD EYE CIRCLE is fully in English and was created to be the sub-unit's "international" title track. The official YouTube channel "loonatheworld" dropped a teaser video on June 10th showing the whole group performing together for the first time. Entitled, "(LOONA) go into Orbit," it revealed the date of the group's premiere greeting concert "Line Up" to be August 19th, 2018! This is likely when their debut music video will also be released, and fans are ecstatic at how soon it is! Due to the extensive "prep work" for their debut, the detailed concept for the group, the numerous music video and song released and more, LOONA has already earned a dedicated fan base and is considered by many the most anticipated girl group of 2018.

How LOOΠΔ’s Music Videos Tie In with Girl Front

so i know there are tons of other posts like this but i wanted to make my own (partly to help me wrap my own brain around it and think straight) so lol

1) Cassette tapes:

Probably the most obvious way the Girl Front music videos connect to the previous Loona videos is the cassette tape Kim Lip uses at the begining, referencing the cassettes and cassette player seen in ViVi’s Everyday I Love You ft. Haseul.  The cassette also rewinds at the end of the mv, accompanied by the same clip of Kim Lip looking at herself

2) Airplanes

In Haseul’s video for 소년, 소녀 (Let Me In) we obviously have the big old burnt-out airplane ruins, but in addition we also have images and clips of paper airplanes flying and landing on the ground, similar to what we see in Girl Front.  While Choerry throws the paper airplane, she also gets another one thrown at her; this could be her using the airplanes to cross dimensions and communicate with the girls of  LOOΠΔ1/3

3) The Yellow Truck

This one is another obvious one; the truck in Girl Front is the same as in Let Me In (and even uses one of the clips from Haseul’s mv).  In one universe the truck is there in winter, while in the other it’s with the Hot Summer Unit!  It’s also Hyunjin’s color

4) Maps

In Girl Front, Choerry is using a map to find the other girls and marks the location with a sticker of their animal (most obvious being a cat for Hyunjin, but you can also find the animals for Heejin, Haseul, Vivi, and Yeojin if you look!)  There are also dots marked out in the same shape as the mirrors from Love Cherry Motion (I learned this from this video).  In addition, in Hyunjin’s music video for Around You, she is using what is probably a map to find her destination (Side note: while she’s getting her hair done from the guy in the attic, there are jars to the right of her with all the colors).

5) Cameos

Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, and Yeojin, appear in ViVi’s music video, Jinsoul appears in ViVi’s other music video.  Heejin features in one version of Jinsoul’s music video.  Kim Lip and Jinsoul appear in Choerry’s music video.  Hyunjin appears in Odd Eye Circle’s music video (as well as the shadow of Mystery Girl)

6) Mirrors

The mirror placement shape like I mentioned above, as well as using hand mirrors to shine in other peoples faces (there are also some in Heejin’s mv but idk if that means anything)

7) Mixing choreo/lyrics

The lyrics and choreography for Girl Front mix&match Kim Lip’s, Jinsoul’s, and Choerry’s solos to create the subunit

8) Moons

Three moons... loona... moons....

9) Jinsoul transporting

Choerry can cross dimensions, but Jinsoul probably can too, since she was in ViVi’s video

10) Referencing other videos

Not only do we have the magic eye eclipse thingy, we also get Kim Lip looking over her shoulder a lot like we do at the end of Eclipse

Coldphile Starter Pack

This is my first time writing resource post, so hopefully I can get my points across. 

If you’re someone who is fond and ecstatic with:

-the sky in charcoal/greyish monochrome color -storms/thunderstorms -torrential rain/rainfall in general  -the dark blue/almost black ocean especially the cloudiness before rainfall -imagining the geography/texture of planet outside of ours  -anything without ends, like the deeper part of ocean (eg Mariana Trench/) -the sensation of being sucked into something dark or the unknown -fog/misty/snowy path/weather -the sensation of exploring the unknown in general -sound texture of any objects

And of course, if you’re fond of writing and feel the need to be immersed in a specific atmosphere that can recreate the sense of ‘comforting’ isolation that you might have felt during the phenomenon/weather/sensation on the lists, I have personal tracks to listen to during the condition, or if I want to recreate the feeling of being in the condition. Soon-ae Hong (the mother of Hak Ja Han) spent two years in Chuncheon Prison after Ansu beating an 18-year old boy to death.

There was even an incident that occurred in 1957. An old woman, Jae-geon Kim, and Soon-ae Hong (the mother of Hak Ja Han who is currently the wife of Sun Myung Moon) were released after a two year sentence in Chuncheon Prison. The two women had been charged with beating a mentally-ill boy to death during an Ansu session. He was about 18 years old. They had guaranteed that they could cure the mental abnormality with their divine powers.

Dae Mo Nim was practicing the Christian faith sincerely at the “New Jesus Church” which was led by Reverends Lee Yong-Do and Hwang Gook-Joo.

About the author, Myung-hui Kim

Myung-hui Kim, the author of this book, devoted 15 years of his life to Sun Myung Moon from January 26, 1963 to March 1978. At Sun Myung Moon’s special direction he was authorized to resolve the Sutaek-ri [Guri] land case, and the Ilhwa Pharmaceutical tax evasion case. While dealing with and resolving Sun Myung Moon’s confidential cases, Myung-hui Kim uncovered corruption, illegality, and fraud – and the enormous evil schemes of Sun Myung Moon and his religious group. Kim made an effort to take corrective action, keeping a sense of mission for the future of the religious group and society.

For instance, on August 12, 1977 Kim invited 37 leaders of the Unification Church to get together for a policy meeting and to take corrective action. When the leaders did not show any sign of reflecting on the issues, or taking corrective action, following a time extension after the meeting, Kim informed various members of society and disclosed Sun Myung Moon’s fraud and the risk of danger from him.

Because of Kim’s activities against Sun Myung Moon, the Sun Myung Moon religious group compensated Kim’s private expenses, which he had incurred while solving the problems of the religious group. They then put Kim in prison on charges of demands for money using blackmail. They told Kim to suspend his campaign against Sun Myung Moon for compensation of 1 billion Korean won and also offered to help Kim emigrate from Korea to the United States, both of which he refused. Undaunted, following his release from prison, Kim carefully collected information on Sun Myung Moon for over seven years and then published this book.

Gook-joo Hwang and Orgies

Heretics are bound to appear in times of chaos, seducing the people and leading them astray. While the spirit-possessed heretics were polluting the society, yet another group was bringing disorder into the Church and society. A young man named Gook Joo Hwang was one of them. Originally from Jangyeon, Hwanghae Province, he migrated to Jiandao, China, and attended Long Jin Central Church. Being a man of handsome features, his face resembled that of Jesus usually seen in paintings.

For a hundred days of prayer, he let his long hair down and did not shave his mustache. Having achieved Jesus-like appearance, he started making an absurd remark that, while praying, his head was lifted off from his body and then Jesus’ head was attached to his body. He made a blunder stating that “his head was (the head of) Jesus, his blood of the blood of Jesus, and his heart was the heart of Jesus … everything was Jesus.” (Note 402: Kyoung Bae Min, Hanguk Gidokgiohoesa (History of the Christian Church in Korea) (Seoul: Yonsei University Press, 1993), 445.) His outstanding eloquence captivated many people, overpowering them through sermons and prayers. The entire situation was by far beyond any sensible comprehension, taking into account the fact that even his father, Elder Hwang, knelt before his own son, Guk-ju, and called him “Lord.”

Claiming that the Jesus in him was headed to the New Jerusalem, Gook Joo Hwang set out for Seoul. He was accompanied by a large crowd, which included his father, his sisters, and many other women. When the news spread that the New Jesus was passing by, people from all places came to see him and his followers. Dozens of virgin girls, married women and men formed a large crowd while following him. They took on a lifestyle of liberal eating, sleeping and traveling together. It was definitely impossible for this lifestyle to be free of any immorality. In fact, they were full of indecency. Seung Je Kim, the pastor of Samho Church in South Hamgyeong Province, saw the crowd on the journey and wrote the following account:

I had come to the vicinity of Samho Church of South Hamkyung Province in July 1935, when I saw a group of 60-70 mixed men and women lying down under the shadow of trees near the church. Among them ten in a group were here and there spread out … their state of disorder made them look like lawless people. (Note 403: Seung Je Cho, “Naeui Mokhoesaenghwal 40yoneui Baeksuh,” (White Paper on My 40 Years of Pastoral Ministry), Mokhoeyeohwa (Stories of Ministry) (Seoul: Hyangryeonsa, 1965), 109.)

By the time Gook Joo Hwang and the crowd of over sixty married and virgin women arrived in Seoul, churches across the entire nation were in a commotion about them.

Hwang called himself Jesus; he bragged that it was impossible for him to sin because he was a perfect man. He built a prayer camp on Mt. Samgak, taught doctrines on so-called neck separation and blood sharing and engaged in orgies. He called this the exchange of spiritual bodies. When the Anju Presbytery in Pyeongan Province sent investigators and asked for explanation on the orgies, they boasted, “We have crossed the Jordan River and we are no longer bound by the sexual issues between male and female.” (Note 404: The Yeonggye (Spiritual World) (November 1933), 3.) In 1933, the Anju Presbytery named Gook Joo Hwang, Myung Hwa Yoo and other dangerous figures as heretics and prohibited churches from inviting them for their revival meetings. This was ratified by the General Assembly that met in the autumn that year.

In any turbulent period, there are bound to be acts of chaos that make groups of immoral adulterers who are fooled by the devil to label sexual temptations as “God’s revelations” or “bodily exchange of spirits.” We must take a serious note of this because the same will be witnessed through Sun Myung Moon’s Unification Church later in the Korean history.

Moon himself was cleansed through a pikareum sex ritual with the “wife of Jehovah”, Ms Pak, in Pyongyang in the summer of 1946. She had sex with God in a dream. This pikareum sex ritual with her qualified Moon to be the messiah. He then had the mission, from God, to directly cleanse as many women as possible in a sex relay.

The salvation and cleansing of mankind starts from Moon as the sinless messiah. In the early days of the Unification Church this was done through the pikareum ceremony (pi=blood, kareum=separation). During these ceremonies to remove the original sin, sexual intercourse was done three times – formation, growth and perfection. The cleansing was done by the sperm. This explains the testicles outside the Prayer Hall. If a woman was cleansing a man, she must have been cleansed before by the sperm of a cleansed man. Later, within Unification Church marriages, it was called the “Three Day Ceremony.” Holy Wine (containing Moon’s sperm) has also been used.

The wisdom of Moon: “The foundation of resurrection has not been understood so far. You must establish the condition to inherit the heart of history; otherwise the start and motivation for resurrection is not fulfilled. You must understand that.

Then for the blood lineage to be reversed, conditions must be established so that the seed which is going to become a future child enters the bone marrow of Adam and connects with God’s love. Otherwise, you cannot be born anew as God’s child. This teaching is founded on the Bible, which is God’s word.

The emotions or feelings of a man do have an influence upon the seed in his flesh. When a man feels happy, that feeling of happiness affects his own seed. Likewise, when he feels sad, that feeling of sadness affects his seed.
