as always, ( 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 ) arrived to the campus’ event late with little to no actual excuse why aside from the fact that she was naturally an hour or two behind everyone else’s schedule. once she made it to the courtyard, she fluffed her bouncy curls and adjusted her necklaces before sauntering towards the food truck. there was a line long enough to make the femme roll her eyes just moments before she turned around to see a face she noticed from around campus. “this truck better make the best food in the country ‘cause what’s the rush for?” she sighed with a hand on her hip, dropping the irritable frown from her face. “what you getting?”

with a red solo cup occupying one hand and her opposing one combing through her blonde bundles, 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 resided at the Barbie-themed bar as she took a minute to herself. she had already been pre-gaming a couple hours before, so she was slightly under the influence even though she’d never admit it. “what’s in your cup?” she asked the person that sat next to her with her brows raised out of curiosity. “don’t even answer that, we finna’ get you some shots,” she turned to wave the bartender over. “can you get us 4 shots of Henny each? thank you!”

“shut up, this my song !” 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 blurted out while exiting the restroom and redirecting herself to the dance floor, effortlessly swaying her curvy frame from side to side; “naughty girl” by beyoncé blasting through the speakers. “come on, dance with me !” rolling her neck just enough to push her jet black inches behind her shoulders, she held her hand out while waiting for the other to join her.

once she sat her prada tote and towel down on a lounge chair, ( 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 ) followed suit before taking a seat and extending her arm to retrieve her phone from her bag. the dark-haired femme used her front camera as a mirror while combing her colorful acrylics through her luscious bundles, then placing her sunglasses atop her temple to capture a couple selfies for her insta-story. shortly afterwards, she noticed a fellow student walking by and decided to stop them. “hey, you. do you mind taking a couple pictures for me?” her brows raised while she awaited an answer. “drinks on me.” she followed up, referring to the watermelon circoc hidden in her bag.

there were a list of activities she wanted to complete before the end of their trip, but the first on the bucket list was jet ski’ing. modeling one of her favorite bikinis from the pretty little thing summer line, 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 sauntered up the sandy shore before coming face to face with the instructors of the activity. after waiting her turn to get on one of the jet skis, she turned around and rolled her eyes at the sight of someone she despised walking in her direction. once he made it to where the line was, she decided she wouldn’t say anything to him; especially after their aggressively verbal exchange a week prior. but that decision only lasted for a cute sixty seconds before she turned back around to speak. “um, look what the sharks pulled out they asses,” she chuckled with her palm tucked at her curvy hip, tilting her head. “if you wanted to see me, you literally could’ve just said that, xiaire.” she shrugged while meshing her glossy duo against one another. pulling her lipgloss tube from her LV bag, 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 smeared the gloss across each brim prior to tucking it away and studying the menu. ever since she started taking her workouts more serious, she strayed away from eating too many carbs — but it was her cheat day and she planned on taking full advantage. “i’m tryna’ figure out if i wanna’ be simple and get tacos.. or should i get queso and chips? fuck it, give me both.” she told the waiter while handing him her menu, turning to face the person near her. “this finna’ be our lil’ secret, don’t tell nobody. what you gettin’ ?”

hearing about the loss of 𝐓𝐘𝐑𝐄𝐊’s sister, 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 knew he’d be DJ’ing at the gaming event; so she made time to find the person she once knew. the last time they spoke, it wasn’t too friendly — or at all, really. however, she knew how much he loved his sister so she decided to put her self-absorbent habits aside and find him at his booth. “boy, get out of my way and don’t touch me,” she spoke to one of a few guys who happened to be near the DJ booth as she sauntered past each of them. finally making it to him, she parted her glossy brims before she spoke. “hey, can i talk to you ?” she questioned.

walking into the ballroom with one hand lightly grasping the satin material of her custom-made gown and her other occupied by her date’s masculine arm, 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 had never been happier to be at an after school event. she knew people would talk based off the simple fact that herself and 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐒 weren’t officially together, but ironically enough she could care less about what anyone thought or said regarding their situation; especially if it wasn’t directed. “let’s go and get some drinks, we needa’ set the tone.” her hand slid down from his arm, relocating at his much larger hand where she’d interlock their digits. arriving at the huge table full of finger foods and beverages, she grabbed two solo cups and filled them with fruit punch, turning to face the male with a mischievous smirk plastered across her face. “you brought the liquor, right ?” she questioned in a low volume while glancing up at him, waiting for the male to serve them both mixed drinks.

vibing to the music that blasted through the speakers of the boat, 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 pulled her phone out and started recording herself for her instagram story — rapping along to the song and taking selfies shortly afterwards. “don’t be tryna’ sneak up in my pictures, i see you.” she teased while pulling her phone away so the opposing being was no longer in the corner of the frame, turning her head to face them. “can you believe they brought us on this boat and didn’t even supply food and drinks ? it’s givin’ they want us to starve and dehydrate.” she always kept her pink bedazzled flask in her purse, but not a water bottle or party snacks in sight.

it was day two day of being at lake emerald and she found herself even more irritable than the first — 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 wasn’t a wilderness type of person, especially when bugs were involved. however, she felt like it was the perfect opportunity to take pictures for the yearbook and submit them to her yearbook committee for extra credit. she took a few pictures of her classmates surrounding the fire as well as a few near the lake. “hey, say cheese for me.” she held up the camera, giving them time to pose for the shot.
