Today, I’m looking back at one of my Star Duet Fancy Twin (星のデュエットファンシーツイン) coloring books from the late ‘80s/the very end of the Showa (昭和) period.

The Star Duet Funny Twin (星のデュエットファニーツイン) coloring book that my friend brought me from Japan this weekend is actually the first Seika magical girl mini-coloring book in my collection. You can see the size comparison here.

I really enjoy my work so the travel associated with it is also fun for the most part. The problem with being on the road, though, is that I don’t have access to most of my collection. Usually I just travel with one book and I bring one show. So, before I leave, I’m going to post images from another late Showa (昭和) magical girl series, Star Duet Funny Twin (星のデュエットファンシーツイン), which only existed as coloring books and other stationary items. This was just a few years before the Heisei (平成) era series Miracle Girls (ミラクル★ガルズ) brought the magical girl twin concept to manga and TV anime.
