UNEXPECTED HIATUS !! Yes, I know I just got off a hiatus in January, but here we are. My mental health has once again taken a nosedive, and while nothing on Tumblr has explicitly been adding to it ( seriously, y'all have been the sweetest to me ) I need to take a few days offline to get my head back in order. I'm gonna go low-to-no-activity for a week or so, spend some time with myself, get back on my medication schedule ( oops ) and try to sort out my sleeping a bit.

When I come back, I'll make the decision whether I'm shutting this blog and moving to a new one ( seriously considering it, even tho I've only been on this one for a short time : I want to reorganize and clean up the tagging system, which is nigh-impossible without changing blogs, plus update my rules with stricter guidelines, etc ) or just cleaning this one up and giving her an overhaul.

I keep having more muse ideas and I cannot post about them because I know some of you fuckers will encourage me.

and by that, I mean : my hiatus has officially ended !! What does that mean, exactly? Well.

IN SHORT : I've moved the multimuse over here. It was just the easiest way for me to reorganize without feeling a fuck ton of frustration over trying to change things over for 200+ posts. The muse list remains 99% the same, with a couple of minor additions, and the rules have been overhauled. New tags, same graphics, same me and my silly ol' nonsense.

As for the fate of the Hazbin sideblog? Well, vanaglcria is now over here, a full-fledged blog because holy fuck, I hate sideblogs. The rules have also been overhauled, and a new muse has been added ( with the potential for more... ) so I look forward to getting back to there as well.

Hopefully y'all are willing to put up with this last blog move for me and follow me over to the new spot !!

MERRY HAPPY HO-HO. So, Mal arrives on the 13th to spend Christmas with me and my family !! I'll still be working through the holidays, so my activity is absolutely going to dip from now until the New Year. I'll still be around and I might get some replies done here and there, but odds are I'm going to be largely on lurker mode.

So, I'm getting ready for D&D, but I realized I kind of forgot to put the good news up when I got home :

My I-129F was approved !!

Which, in simpler terms, means that my engagement to Mal has been officially recognized as legitimate by the US government, which in turn means that we're moving to the next stage of my visa journey! Next up is the super stressful stuff ( an interview with the consulate in Vancouver ) and then keeping our fingers crossed that they actually approve the K1 visa, but... this is progress! And like... months sooner than we were expecting progress to happen. I didn't think we'd hear back from them until the summer.

I love when y'all call each other out and I get to just hop from blog to blog collecting everyone like shiny pokemon. uwu

work is absolutely exhausting me but today my manager gave all of us little bags of chocolates from the hand-pick case ( our store doesn't have one, since we're a pop up ) from her home store as a thank you for our hard work and I almost burst into tears.

tiny life update: I bought a new laptop and, while waiting for it to arrive, my old laptop absolutely shit the bed. Mal's a lifesaver and is seeing if Best Buy can recover my hard drive but... yeah gonna be absent until this is sorted.

personal positive life update ( feel free to keep scrolling : )

I can't express how much having a good doctor makes a difference. I struggled with being taken seriously by doctors for years and I still have so much shame about going to the doctor because of it. I always feel like I'm going to be made to feel stupid or crazy. My doctor now never makes me feel that way: it's incredible to just have someone listen.

I've been struggling with long COVID symptoms for over a year now and I finally decided to try and talk to him about it. I was ready for the usual "diet and exercise" routine. Instead, not only did he take me seriously, he walked me through each and every symptom and immediately ordered tests and gave me something to hopefully help with the cough.

IDK I'm just feeling really emotional about it. ;w; So yeah I have a crap ton of blood work, an ECG, and a chest x-ray all scheduled now.

I can't remember if I mentioned, but last week, Mal took me to see Hadestown again for my birthday ( because I am SPOILED AS SHIT ) and two of our friends came along this time. When Orpheus turns at the end, my friend beside me gasped so sharply I thought she hurt herself, and a woman behind me just said, quietly but with so much passion in her voice, "oh no."

HIATUS NOTICE : so, I've finally come to some sort of a decision about the fate of this blog. I am going to move blogs with a notably shortened character list. So this blog will be on a semi-hiatus until it is archived. I'll still be floating around the dash, commenting and liking, but probably not writing any replies until my move is done.

If I removed the muse you were primarily interacting with, I'm sorry !! I just realized I'd decided to take on a bunch of muses in the hopes of writing with certain people, but for some silly reason it was really stressing me out to actually write those muses. Obviously, if those muses are gone for you, I'll understand if you don't follow to the new blog.

Was planning to be here tonight after D&D, but my anxiety just spiked for like no reason ?? so I think I'm going to just curl up with my switch for the evening.
