This place was everything that she had always wished her homeland could become : a living, breathing city, with music playing around every corner. The people were like none she had met anywhere in her ( still very limited ) travels of the world. What had originally been a brief stop-over on their journey returning to D.C. had turned into a week long stay, with the team not quite willing to return just yet.

Milo had vanished twenty minutes earlier, or Kida had simply wandered away from him. Whichever was the case, she found herself in the heart of the city, simply going where her feet carried her. Or her stomach, as she found herself standing outside a restaurant that was practically buzzing with excitement. "...what an incredible smell."
