The hair on the back of her neck raised, and she gave a low growl. “The hunters are nothing to scoff at!” She could feel her heart caving in on itself as it often did around mentions of the hunters. they had taken everything from her, and she’d spent centuries loathing them.

“Of course it is.” Ally answered damn near immediately, frowning as she did. She knew Vocal Adrenaline worked their kids hard but this...this was something else. Something wrong, something twisted.
