The request ( or demand ? ) knocks the air right from his lungs. His brown irises prominent as his eyes widen while he catches his breath again. He didn't know why, maybe it's round face with those big eyes, but Jin didn't suspect Orihime to be fascinated with the art of pole dancing.

He regains his hardened composure, although face still appears trapped in puzzlement.

Instead, arms crossed over his chest and goldish-brown eyes staring almost narrowly at the precious items before the two. ❝Heard these kind of things are popping up recently, fooling others into grabbing it and somehow bad things happened to them. Things they normally don't encounter.❞

Jin crouched down in front of the gold, his arms resting on his sturdy legs. It's tempting to take the gold for himself, he's sure there's enough to make him rich. But . . . Jin's morale restrained him from committing to greed. Still, he surveyed the wealth curiously as Vasco explained.

❝ I've never met a leprechaun before. ❞ It's another creature Jin wouldn't have any faith in had he not been possessed by a devil. Now ? Jin wasn't so willing to brush off the existence of anything. ❝ But if it's a trap, then nobody really wants it returned . . . they just want to lure us into some misfortune, & believe me, I'm already an unlucky person. ❞

He shook his head. ❝ I don't know if it's worth the risk.❞

He glances down at his left arm, twisting it to view the tattoo mark of the devil on it. Then he looks toward her, eyes narrowing to her neck. He's seen a few people with tattoos - they're more common outside of Japan. & while he's certain they aren't brandings of devils, he can't help but be curious. He thought that curiosity to be rude, but she did point out the way his face looks.

❝ Really ? ❞ Maybe it's his self esteem playing tricks on him, but he almost couldn't believe that. Almost. But he would never believe Vasco would lie to him, not even as a means to cheer him up. Although couldn't see how he was pleasant to be around, he wouldn't let his low confidence beat him down.

Is he doing something for New Years, other than sit in his room & potentially succumb to madness ? No. Should he try to go out & do something else ? Maybe. If somebody was offering. But what are they to do ? Most people preferred blacking out on the booze. Jin's gotten drunk once before in his life, & while it was fun . . . a certain devil ruined that for him.

He shrugs.

Even now as she uttered that accurate acknowledgement, Jin's lips are laid out in a thin line. his brows do not rest for they are quite stitched together, as if something was bothering him. but naturally, that's how his face was molded at birth.

Her statement is something that have fallen on his ears a plethora of times before. In fact, it is a common complaint amongst those who he surrounds himself with. A complaint he hasn't properly resolved yet, either.

Although his voice is loud enough to be heard, it's low enough so he didn't get much attention drawn to him. Vasco peeked around the corner, though he didn't fully come out. Based off the bunny ears sitting perfectly on his head and the small glimpse of his chest, it's hinting he may be wearing a playboy bunny outfit.

Lucky for Vasco, Jin almost always wears a jacket. He looks over to Vasco, eyes narrowing to try & get a better view of the captain. Though, it's hard. But he does see enough to guess what Vasco is dressed in.

❝ Yeah - if you want, I can let you borrow it, ❞ although his voice harbors reluctance as he slips it off his shoulders. ❝ Why are you even wearing that ? It's not bad - but you seem . . . humiliated. ❞

what’s  this  ?  he’s  wearing  a  fluffy,  gray  jacket  with  wolf  ears  on  the  hood  !  along  with  a  collar,  a  big,  fluffy  tail,  &  matching  gray  pants  that  are  also  fluffy  on  the  cuffs.

"I'm sure you would be a great tank... but also a dps... Dark Knight, maybe... oh, we can be besties as Monks" Now she is talking to herself (and ruining the 4th wall)

Jin  blinks  at  her,  clearly  confused.  “  I  don’t  really  know  what  any  of  that  is...  other  than  a  monk,  &  maybe  Dark  Knight...  ” but  he  isn’t  sure  if  that’s  what  she’s  precisely  referring  to  what  he’s  thinking  of.

“  i  don’t  know  what  to  dress  as  for  halloween.  i  don’t  know  if  i’m  even  going  to  bother  celebrating  it.  ”
