samael has the WORST nightmares like, he will literally wake up SCREAMING

samael has three cats: beelzebub, a black cat, Lucifer, a silver tabby, and finally, you guessed it, Asmodeus, a white shorthair... he found them on one of his tours in a dumpster :( he has a cat sitter who takes care of them when he's gone, but sometimes he takes them on tour with him!

Samael genuinely thinks he's a bad person. It's an accumilation of the pent up shame and guilt he's had since he was a child and the way parts of society tends to paint him as some kind of evil characatrure... He's very dismissive when people call him good, often shrugging it off because he feels so rotten inside... but the truth of the matter is, samael is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. he's got a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need.

misunderstood villain . . . prepare for an onslaught of both the most dehumanizing and hateful takes, and flood of thirst comments. you are chronically misunderstood. whether or not you're actually evil is debatable. you may be acting out for revenge, to defend someone you love, or even just to protect yourself. you're a pretty jaded person. you don't trust or even really like most people. maybe you did at one point. but that part of you is gone, and you don't go a single day without grieving it. you think a lot about what your life could have been. you're stuck in the past. you're angry and maybe you don't even want to be, but this is the only way you can see to survive. you're open, but less in a trusting way and more like a wound. you don't like to let people see you, but the hurt spills out of you before you can stop it. you're impulsive, even as you try hard to plan and prepare. maybe someday your side of the story will finally be heard. until then, you can convince yourself that being hated is safer anyway.

I wanna say samael is famous like... idk. harry styles famous. but obviously he has an entirely different music genre / aesthetic... but he's very famous, most people have at least heard of him? he's known for being blasphemous / "sinful" / and controversial as hell LMFAO like as many people are there that love him, there are MANY who hate him and are against him and his music :/ but thankfully, it's more love than hate

samael is out as trans and bisexual, and has a few songs about being so! Every June 1st he has a performance/party for lgbtq+ charities where he performs those songs and just celebrates his and other's pride!

samael hates father's day... he usually spends the entirety of the day brooding alone writing angsty songs about his dad.

Samael's music is very... not family-friendly, lol. A lot of his music is sexually charged and blasphemous like, sexy blasphemous. it offends A LOT of people...

GLASS CAGE . . . You feel disconnected from the world around you. You can see everything, everyone can see you, but you're not really there. No one can really communicate with you, can they? You're isolated, even when you're around people you're alone. You want desperately to be close to someone, but you're afraid of what will happen if you shatter your glass prison. You don't want to let someone in, you don't want to leave, and it's a constant battle of your own will. It's easier to be alone, where no one can hurt you... Isn't it?

i feel like samael really likes the imagery of lambs bc he saw himself as one for so long? Like. a frail little pathetic soft thing that was always targeted by bigger, scarier animals... But like, once he gained his independence and shit he sorta? became more of a wolf / lion? idk i love the symbolism

Samael is very good at regulating his emotions, but he still suffers from borderline personality disorder, meaning he's prone to emotional outbursts, can easily cry, and can have intense anger... The more tired he is, physically or emotionally, the more likely he's to emotionally react to something. He tends to bottle his feelings up, but if something triggers him, he'll do his best to isolate himself before anyone can see him react.

what do you need right now?

TO BE SEEN . . . it is so, so loud. everyone around you is talking, crowded together. despite how loud it is, you cannot hear them, even when they talk to you. you try to talk to them, but you can't hear their responses. you take this as no response at all. it feels lonely, and dark, despite you all sitting in the sun together, and everyone's having a great time except you. you keep trying to get their attention, and when you do, it never feels like enough. you can't keep doing more. it's tiring. you see yourself floating in space, it's cold, and dark. they're still down on earth, laughing, so loud. you desire to be seen right now. you feel unappreciated, you feel left out.
