{ ♪ } -- She paused for a moment, eyes widening at the comment. It was enough to bring a flush to her cheeks. Granted, Basil had said things in the same vein to her before... But this felt different. Perhaps it was that kiss they'd shared, the subsequent conversation... or some other shift. Arabella couldn't quite place it, honestly. It still sent her heart fluttering in her chest while simultaneously squeezing it in a vice.

It took a moment for her expression to relax into a warm, loving smile. Pale hands lifted to his cheeks and she tilted her head to one side.

"Thank you, fiorellino. Though, that comment makes me wonder if you look in the mirror. Because you're more lovely than any galaxy could claim to be."

Was it a bit cheesy to say? Yeah. But she'd never worried much about being cheesy. Not to mention she knew how he loved the stars and space.

{ ♪ } -- Holding her pillow to her chest, she hummed her agreement. No matter how often she claimed they were just friends, things always seemed to ignite between them both. The platonic affection would spark into something different and heat them both until it erupted into something like what happened the night before. Bella never once regretted any night they spent together, but she did wonder if it was only hurting her or him or both of them in the long run...

For now, though, she would smile softly at her companion. Basil had been with her for so long that it was more than difficult to piece together what, exactly, her feelings were. There was no denying the fact that she wanted Basil by her side and in her life, though... So, she was just going with that for the moment.

"I know. I'm not exactly mad about it, though."

{ ♪ } -- She'd been in process of working on something at her desk. Basil knew well that he had free reign of her home, having even gone so far as to give her friend a spare key. As such, she didn't really react when she heard the door open and him call out. It wasn't until she stood, still staring down at the papers in her hands and she felt his arms wrap around her middle that she stopped, giving a little giggle.

Her hands dropped to rest on his arms, gently returning the hug to the best of her ability.

"Hi there, cattivello! I hope you're doing well today."

She was sitting quietly, letting Recovery Girl tend to her. Bella had been hit rather hard with the effects of a quirk, leading to quite a few injuries all over her arms, legs, and torso. It had all been because she'd shoved Basil out of the way to keep her already-injured friend from getting hit with something worse.

The youthful heroine had already tended to him, so Bella was now at the mercy of her sharp tongue. Just because she was the older woman's "apprentice" of sorts didn't mean that she got spared the harsh lectures, either. But, still, the redhead's focus was on Basil.

"You were already hurt, and a hit like that to someone who can't regenerate could've been a lot worse... I didn't want to see you have to go to the hospital."
