every year auggie spends christmas with her dad , just the two of them as it’s their little tradition. when they lived back in new york together , they would have christmas at home like any normal family. however , once she went to cali for school and then once they were travelling the country post her graduation they would find the only dingy little diner that was open and eat there. honestly , it didn’t really matter where they were as long as they could eat and spend the day together to exchange gifts.
there was one year when auggie was around 6 years old where her maternal grandparents ( who absolutely loathe alex ) fought tooth and nail to have her spend christmas with them instead. alex caved because he was already on thin ice with their CPS threats and didn’t want to risk causing any further upset. however , it ended up being an absolute disaster. auggie hated it. given what happened to her mother and her close-knit relationship with her father she did have a little bit of separation anxiety from him at that age so there was a lot of screaming , a lot of tears and a lot of acting out and alex ended up having to come and get her because she wouldn’t settle down. her grandparents didn’t try it again after that.

since auggie comes off as really friendly , safe and easy-going to those she’s on good terms with it can be quite jarring and even feel really abrupt when you catch her on her bad side. because while she’s highly affectionate and full of light , she’s still a product of her environment and her childhood and at the end of the day she grew up in a shitty , crime-filled neighbourhood with a hitman for a father. she’s seen countless horrors and partaken in some herself.
her conscience is a complete grey area and it always has been. she has no troubles hurting people if it feels justified or even just out of anger. as long as she hasn’t formed an emotional attachment to someone she has no problem committing violence against them should they provoke her. you could even say that her being violent is her in her most purest form as it comes as naturally to her as breathing. it’s always excited her and she’s been that way since she was small. even the repercussions of those actions such as getting hurt herself almost never cross her - nothing about that scares her.
auggie also has some really twisted tendencies that come out when she’s involved in combat and general conflict. for example , if asked she will always say she prefers using a knife over a gun because it feels more intimate and in her mind that’s true because she genuinely enjoys stabbing her enemies there’s no other way about it. not only that , but she enjoys watching them suffer and gains satisfaction from the fear in their eyes. it’s like a game to her , it’s almost intoxicating and is the reason she can sometimes take things a bit too far if swept up in the moment.
and honestly i’m not even gonna get started on how this translates over into her sex life / what she finds hot.
but in short: she’s feral.

spooky season headcanon:
if auggie was ever in a scary movie it would be the kind of plot that flips the script. you think she’s going to be the victim or the final girl ? nooooooo she’s the villain , she’s a whole antagonist. she’d be living alone in a big secluded house in the woods. naturally some twisted creep would find out she lives alone only to plan a break in and terrorise her except it doesn’t nearly go the way he thinks it’s gonna go. the second he’s in the powers shut off. she’s been expecting him. the only thing he can hear is the slow sound of foot steps on the second floor above him. something feels off about it all so he tries to flee but its disorientating outside in the woods in the dark. there’s bear traps around the property. how does he know ? because stumbling through the trees he gets his leg caught in one. after screaming out in pain he can hear the sound of a shotgun , too close for comfort but he’s not hit. not this time. now there’s silence , haunting silence before it’s filled with a soft jingling in the distance. the sound of dog tags against a collar. her dog is tracking him. that’s when he realises she’s hunting him for sport and judging by the human bones found in another bear trap nearby this isn’t her first rodeo.

auggie has a big fat heart and honestly i feel like i could talk about it all day because it’s one of my most favourite things about her , especially in terms of her friendships. like don’t get me wrong she’s a bit of an obnoxious dick but she has the biggest heart for the people she cares about. she also takes to people and warms up to people quite quickly even if they kind of suck , she’ll take a liking to them as long as she finds their dickish behaviour funny. she is very affectionate with all her friends and s/o’s alike , she’ll hug you , hold your hand , put her arm around your shoulders and lay her legs over your lap. she’s honestly just like a cat at times sprawling out over you , she just loves human connection through touch. it all feels so natural to her and while she can be kind of emotionally unavailable at times her , her actions really betray that sentiment and honestly its probably just her body compensating for what her mouth isn’t willing to say. not to mention the second you need her she’ll drop everything she’s doing to come find you , auggie would literally kill for the people she loves without even so much as batting an eyelid. she’ll always have your back , no questions asked. the irony of it all being since she’s so hard to tie down to one spot and always on the go , she ends up leaving everyone she loves eventually and honestly she deserves to be called out for it.

a supernatural verse based on jennifer’s body
preface ;
during her time at university the thief gets herself into some trouble. she knowingly took a risk when she set her sights on a wealthy CEO. the plan was to ‘ accidentally ’ run into him in the bar of the hotel he was staying at , act sweet & charm him into inviting her up into his penthouse with the ultimate goal of documenting his space so she could later return when he was out to rob him. things took a dark turn once she got up to his suite , one she never would of expected.
augustine was cocky , she was careless --- she let her guard down & she paid for that with her life. or did she ? the man was absolutely batshit out of his mind & intended to use her as a human sacrifice in exchange for guaranteed growth in his fame & fortune. sounds silly , doesn’t it , to go through all that trouble when you were already so successful ? well , there were hints that this wasn’t the first girl he had sacrificed & that’s exactly how he made it this far: sacrificing virgins to satan. only he made a mistake , augustine was no virgin as her innocent act had lead him to believe.
after she was sacrificed ( aka relentlessly stabbed to death ) augustine woke up in the bathtub of his suite , in a pool of her own blood. by this time her assailant had fled the scene , leaving her presumed corpse for some very special hired help to clean up. but an overwhelming feeling of hunger overcame her as that very help entered the room. as a tainted sacrifice the consequences were that there was now a demon inside of her that thirsted for flesh & blood & he was to be her first meal.

it’s difficult to put a label on what exactly auggie is. she’s not exactly a demon as she is still her human self in a lot of ways , physical & behavioural. her mortal body simply merged with a demonic force leaving her a complete abomination that never should have existed in the first place. this provided her with eternal youth along with demonic powers , though nothing is free & it comes at a cost: she needs to feast on humans in order to keep her strength up & stay alive. after the transition she was understandably pissed , not by what she had turned into but over the audacity that man had for trying to kill her & thus she began hunting him. she doesn’t care what lives she has to take to get to him , as long as she gets the opportunity to tear him apart.
NOTES:
has to feast on a human at least once a month , though every 3 weeks is optimal.
when she’s gone too long without feeding she grows weak , cranky , the colour drains from her skin , her hair & nails get brittle & she just looks like she hasn’t slept in days. while still stronger than the average human , it’s a lot easier to hurt or kill her in this state.
when she’s fed she’s strong & vibrant , virtually indestructible & magnetic.
in this now demonic state naturally she lacks empathy. she obviously had no issue with killing people to feed on them but she’s still her prior self to a certain degree so she does still experience a level of care for family & friends though it’s probably a lot more possessive. plus , she’s more prone to aggressive outbursts which they won’t be spared from if angering her.
demonic powers include: levitation , enhanced strength , enhanced healing , immortality , fun lil demon claws & fangs , desire detection , fear detection & glowing yellow eyes.

say what you want about auggie , she has her good & bad qualities but at the end of the day she’s got a good heart & will always be overly protective of other girls --- no past history or relationship required. if a random girl’s getting creeped on by a dude in the club , she’ll be there. if she catches a girl’s bf acting out & disrespecting her , she’ll be there. if she finds another girl in ANY kind of vulnerable situation she ! will ! be ! there ! & not just because she loves conflict or kicking ass but because she is so angered at the absolute AUDACITY that some men possess , that they would ever put a woman in that position in the first place. she’s never killed anyone in her life but a girl might just snap if you’re not careful & i don’t think she would even regret it.

y’all i just became a lil self aware about something or rather auggie ...............
she’d never say she has a certain “ type ” because she really feels like she doesn’t but given her track record & the way she pings when i read about certain muses it really seems her type is .............. sad people.

because it’s sinday here’s a small headcanon of tattoo’s auggie has that you might only get a chance to when she’s naked:
first off , probably her slightly more visible one. auggie has this snake tattoo on her back right between her shoulder blades. she got it when she was 18 because first it looks cool af but secondly she likes the whole immortality symbolism to it as she loves living her life like she’s incapable of death. there’s also the representation of vengefulness , sexual desire & a dual expression for both good & evil as you can kind of claim parts of her as both.
second one is on her left side along her panty line. it’s a rose which can represent so many things but tbh she just got it because it looked really cool.
third one she got when she was super drunk , but she doesn’t regret it. it’s on the right side of her ass & simply says the word bite. it might even be her favourite one , simply because of how playful it is plus it really showcases her tendency to live in the moment of things.

opinion on love at first sight: nope. doesn’t exist. she believes you can 100% be drawn to someone immediately but it’s more likely sexual chemistry than any actual love. she has never once just looked at a person for the first time & thought ‘ wow i’m going to give them every part of me ’. like no , that’s stupid. it’s naive. it’s not real. she thinks that’s how people get into toxic situations because they never stop to actually get to know the person & just force it to work anyway. & for auggie in particular she has to know parts of you before she can develop any sort of romantic feelings.

average relationship length: oof it depends. she's definitely not someone who goes out of her way to date , actually more accurately she avoids it entirely. one night stands are more her gig or the occasional no strings attached scenario. however the proper relationships she has actually had ranged between a few months to a couple years maximum.

commitment level: NOT GREAT LBR. it’s very hard to get her to commit but once you got her pal , you really got her.

past relationships?: she’s had three. two of which were in high school.
first was a girl who was her best friend when she was roughly 15 which i have also touched on a little bit here. she literally never talks about it , especially after she moved schools & graduated high school. once she went back home to visit she found out that girl’s boyfriend ended up murdering her & auggie to this day still feels responsible.
then there was a boy at her boarding school. at 16 she first met him at a party when they later slept together. it evolved into a friends with benefits type of situation. he played guitar & wanted to be a musician. he was beautiful & soft , with lots of feelings & with that came mental issues. auggie took care of him as best she could & supported him unconditionally. he was a good person & he was so much better than she ever deserved , like her definition of perfect which says a lot. she loved him so much & he fought soooo hard to force that out of her. like they went through so much to finally get to the point where auggie was like ok i’ll be ur girl & that lasted until graduation when auggie had to go on the run with her dad. which was really hard because she’ll love that boy forever.
third one was when she was 19ish & settled in las vegas , post-high school , pre-university. this was when she was rolling with a group of professional thieves. the guy that she was partnered up with she also ended up living with just straight off the bat due to circumstance. as her literal partner in crime they worked really well together professionally , but living together while being equally attracted to one another was their first mistake. they were very , very similar in their personalities. temper , assholery & all. auggie cared about him for sure but just not in the way he cared for her. she never really completely loved him & she could act out & be a massive asshole at times because of it. that’s not to say he wasn’t just as big of an asshole , he just had more feeling behind it. it’s not something she’s proud of & she still does love him in a sense , just not in an actual romantic way. they would have been better off as friends.
moral of the story , auggie’s never stopped caring about anyone she’s ever been in a relationship with.

auggie has so much sympathy for people who have crappy parents. like you could easily look at her life & given the circumstances of having her mother murdered as a toddler , her dad killing people for a living & just growing up in a shitty neighbourhood surrounded by crime on top of her maternal grandparents trying to take her away from her dad it’s like she easily could have wound up all fucked up & bitter ( especially with the temper she carries ). but literally the only reason she didn’t is because her dad is such a solid parent.
yeah he might of had to leave her home alone overnight since she was a child to go to work but he was ALWAYS home by the time she woke up. he ALWAYS made her breakfast. he ALWAYS walked her to the bus stop in the morning & made her lunch & made her wear weather appropriate clothing. he ALWAYS supported her & laughed with her & played games with her & read to her. not to mention forced her to take her education seriously ! like that man literally gave her the entire world in such shitty circumstances by just giving her the love & attention a child required --- not to mention the respect. he always treated her as an equal & never talked down to her.
he was only 18 when he & amelia had auggie & he was only 21 when amelia died making him a single parent. he loved his wife so much & yet once she was gone he didn’t withdraw from the world as much as he wanted to. instead , he stepped the fuck up as a dad & became two times the parent to compensate for their loss. now ! that’s ! a ! man ! auggie never even had the time to feel empty about losing her mother because her dad was always enough because he did everything for her ON TOP of leading this gruesome , haunting career as a professional murderer.
so when auggie sees people who have shitty parental situations it fucking sucks ??? because having her dad on her side is literally the best thing in the world to her. that man is her best friend & is the reason she thinks she’s invincible. like she cannot even imagine not having that so the fact that some people don’t is so sad to her wtf.
