“pretty..” was taesans first thought as he saw you enter the apartment next to his. you were his neighbor! a very pretty one, in fact.

Over the course of 2 weeks, he’s repeatedly seen you leave and enter your apartment around the same time he does. Your smile was completely glued to his mind.

The way you greeted him made him feel like he was a teenager in love— well he is. Over those weeks, he learned your birthday was coming up soon. He didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but in his defense, your phone call was quite loud.

he (definitely not jaehyuns idea) decided to make a move on you then. He planned to start off simple, to give flowers and a hand made sweatshirt. It took around 5 tries to perfect the sweatshirt to his liking, (and hopefully to yours as well.) He bought all sorts of flowers, watching a video on how to design a pretty bouquet.

then came the day, taesan was nervous to say the least. he had your present and bouquet sitting by the living room. around 8PM, he heard the shuffling noises outside and you unlocking your door.

he panicked and checked how he looked by a mirror, whispering encouragement to himself. taesan soon found himself pacing around the front of your door, bouquet and a nicely wrapped present in hand. taesan held his fist to knock on the door, but retracted it. taesan hovered his finger over the doorbell, but dropped it.

though, inside you stood, watching him through the peephole with a tiny giggle threatening to escape your lips. coincidentally, you were about to give him a tupperwear of extra food you ordered for him at the restaurant you went to.

with a smile, you opened the door and were met with a wide eyed taesan.

“..oh. um! hello.. i heard it was your birthday today and I made you something..”

he was insufferable. your groupmate, the residential pretty boy in your class, kim donghyun. out of all the people you were paired with in aquatic science, it was the boy all girls dreamed to even talk to. not you though, you wanted to be special.

you never really knew where this hatred of him came from. he didnt do anything wrong, he was never rude or obnoxious. he was just.. too perfect. there HAD to be something wrong with him.

the way his glasses sat perfectly on the bridge of his nose, the way he ran his fingers through his hair, the way his skin was so perfect— gosh you couldn’t stand it.

your best friend, haemin would know. haemin hears you rant about him all the time.

“i think you’re just jealous.” he repeatedly responded back.

no! you were not. not that you think…

but here you were, sitting next to leehan. your sworn enemy. you sat there, waiting for him to just ask you to do all the work for the group project, like how everyone else in that class did.

“would you like to exchange contact info? that way we could both talk over the project when we aren’t at school?”

huh. you’ve never heard any of your partners ask that before.

reluctantly, you gave him your number and began talking about the project. to your surprise, he was actually very invested in aquatics. stuff about.. “corydoras” and “shrimp”.. you two had a long conversation about types of fish you liked seeing.

maybe he wasn’t THAT annoying. but he still is.. a tiny bit.

later on at home, you were finishing some extra assignments until a familiar contact messaged you.

you missed your boyfriend. you 100% supported his dream to be an idol, and you 100% understood that being an trainee under HYBE requires a lot of work and time— but you couldn’t help but miss seeing him in the mornings before class started.

while you were an average student, woonhak would be out missing school to practice for his upcoming debut. yes, he always managed to text you when he was free, but its never really the same as seeing him in person.

as of now, it was a cold, snowy winter night. checking the clock, you guessed woonhak would be finishing up his practice around this time. though, his text was later than usual. not wanting to disturb him, you sat on your desk, shuffling your playlist and drawing little hearts on the edges of your paper with his name in the center.

finally, your phone lights up.

look outside

to your surprise, woonhak was at the front of your lawn. by him was a large footprint-made heart in the snow. you gasped in shock, looking over to see him under a cozy red scarf. you could see the crinkles in his eyes from his smile. you wasted no time running down the stairs, exiting the front of your door, completely disregarding the cold weather and staying in your light cotton pjs.

you eagerly dove into his arms, making sure you didnt trample on the snow-heart he made.

“baby! you’ll get sick!” woonhak hurriedly took off his padded jacket and scarf, wrapping it around you with a frown. the tip of his nose was red from the cold, but he couldnt help but smile at your embrace.

you proceeded to invite him into your home, making you both a hot chocolate and cozying next to eachother under a big blanket on the couch.

“don’t tell anybody.. but i wrote our debut songs while thinking of you..”

hi. i was literally thinking about snow x woonhak ALL DAY. in my christmas mood. id cry if he were to make little drawings out of snow for me. no. in general id cry if i even saw woonhak in person.

also PLEAASEEE hear me ojt on enemies to lovers w leehan. some one sided enemies to lovers and hes just either oblivious or completely confused to why you seem to dislike him. its his goal to befriend you. and who knows,, maybe he’ll pass the friend stage?!

also i took my taesan imagine straight from my hc where taesan would overhear you talking on the phone if he was ur neighbor.. 👆👆

leehan academic rivals actually unlocked the beast inside of me that i never knew existed. he is just so pretty he sabotages everyones attention span..

also that is completely accurately something haemin would say i giggled LMAO

and leehan showing all of his fishtanks is so precious, i know how much he loves them and he was probably so excited to share his little fish with the world. especially if he gets to share it with reader! imagine him naming a fish after you???

"this is my favorite, i named this one yn."

"you named a fish after me?!?"

"how could i not? i think i might love my fish more than you.." he teases.

its the way i would actually be a ticking time bomb and explode in woonhaks arms if he made a SNOW HEART. in my FRONT LAWN. i fear i might be in love with him i love the way you interpret him ahh >w<

plus getting all cozy with him under the covers while drinking hot coco AHHH i actually love woonhak so much he is the sweetest flipping person every im gonna die at school rn..

"hey, why did you get more marshmallows than me?!?"

atp i think my brain just runs around woonhak.. like my braincells HAVE to have some sort of virus (not that i’m complaining..)

this time im thinking abt COOLBOY!! woonhak! how he sees jaehyun,leehan and all his other hyungs acting really cool and romantic with their respective s/o’s and decides that he wants to try it too..

like yk their but sometimes live performance where they were all wearing suits? he definitely tries to act cooler around you cause he feels some sort of overwhelming confidence. (as he should tbh. he looked so handsome 🤞🤞)

woonhak would definitely try to cage you by a wall but gets too nervous and opts to grab you by the waist instead. hand on waist + hand on cheek combo as he gives a smooch!! and another!! and way way way more… cheeky grin at the end.

these idol viruses are real because why is yungyu in my brain every moment of the day? i'd like to think that if yungyu and woonhak met they'd absolutely destroy the damn basketball court together. (though woonhak is taller than yungyu, he'd probably get shy playing with somebody new and mess up the shots HAHA yungyu would think he's cool)

and being cool is exactly what woonhak wants! i feel like wearing a suit would make me feel 10x spiffier as well.

a little checkup! what i'm working on. hello everyone LOLL i just wanted to kinda compile what i've been working on so you guys know what to look forward to from me!

i have a very busy boynextdoor schedule, so if you're following me for stray kids, 8turn, or enha, i hate to inform you that i probably will not be working on them until im finished with all of my bnd stuff!

some bnd fics i am working on are: - the day i met you, woonhak series with 1/5 parts completed! (i have about 1.1k words written for the next part so far) - complete our hearts on camera, taesan request - heartbreak girl, woonhak fic it may not seem like a lot... but if we consider the 4 works in the woonhak series (and im hoping for them to range around 3k each) that is a shit ton!!!! i'm going to start working on my taesan request today and if i finish, maybe ill start back up on the day i met you so look forward to that! ALSO: just because i'm only working on these right now, doesn't mean that you are limited to sending in any requests. my inbox is fulfilled at my own pace, so i promise i wont forget you if you decide to submit something. thank u for supporting my work :)
