𝐴𝑛𝑑 𝘩𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝘩𝑒 𝑡𝘩𝑜𝑢𝑔𝘩𝑡 𝑖𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑜𝑏𝑣𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 with all the tubes and needles , wires and stickers on his person. The fact that he's still in this hospital bed with no end in sight. It's a shame when you're waiting to live but in doing so you're also waiting for someone to die.

All the while you're dying yourself.

Denny knows the cards he's been dealt and while she got lucky here he is still waiting, still hoping. But the more he hopes the more of a dirty word it becomes.

[ JACK O’ LANTERN ] for the sender and receiver to carve pumpkins together. @ladamereveuse ft. Denny Duquette

𝐻𝑒 𝘩𝑎𝑑 𝑝𝑢𝑟𝑐𝘩𝑎𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑎 𝑓𝑒𝑤 𝑝𝑢𝑚𝑝𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑑𝑖𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑠𝑖𝑧𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠𝘩𝑎𝑝𝑒𝑠, uncertain which would make the perfect one for the porch on the Trick Or Treaters night. So they decided to simply carve them all with different faces. One happy, one spooky, one silly and the others would simply be decoration.

Denny was looking over the pumpkin carving kit he purchased along with and there was a soft sigh as he looks at all of the tools. ❝ You know when I was a kid...we just used a sharp knife and our hands.❞ He wiggles his fingers imagining them covered in the innards of the pumpkin. The stringy substance and seeds.

❝ Now we have these tools..." He holds up the packaging and laughing. ❝ I don't even know what some of these are used for, except this.❞ He takes out the spoon from the packaging. ❝ Clearly the scooper.❞ Denny then reaches over and places it against Cass's nose catching it as it slips as it's not meant to be balanced there. But, he's laughing, he's smiling.

❝ Which one should we do first, Happy, Grumpy, or Spooky? ❞
